I was listening "super massive blackhole".
And now I'm back here.
And Life is actually in a "super massive blackhole".

Wouldn't we have heard that though? I thought Kespa bans the second you're indicted.

Man such an unfortunate situation. There is no doubt he won those championships fair and square. I just hope people do not forget that he was still an amazing player and gave us some amazing entertainment over the years.

I'm sure we'll hear as soon as anything is decided. Damned long investigation though..

Dude, have you ever heard of Kim Jung Il? He has yet again boosted NK nuke program, China and USA can't do shit about without starting an Armageddon. World is in a great danger.

But in a secret lab, some engineers built revolutionary drones : they're not flying (NK is watching their sky constantly) but they run ultra fast thanks to their 6 legs. They can be sent in a mission to put an end to NK's crazy nuke program.

But nobody is fast enough to control them especially because to be fully operating they need to be controled like a swarm...

But one day, one young man is secretly called to an underground command center. An excuse had to be made for his disappearance from his usual whereabouts for his friends, and the army didn't go very subtil on it, they invented a case to make people he was in prison!

Hopefully when his mission is complete, truth will be told and Life will be back in the booth.

Movie material right there d: That'll be a success at the box-office

We need that movie so bad

Life is one of the most sucessful and most respected players in Starcraft EVER.

Cant be that theyll never let him play again just because he wanted some extra money. Calm your tits Koreans - hes in a shitty team now anyways thats a punishment big enough already.

Only 1 player in SC2 won more money than Life. If he's guilty, KeSPA will ban him for life and they'll be right in doing so. For one because they can't trust him to never do it again, and also because they'd be giving a free pass to similarly accomplished players for throwing matches for money if they let him just keep going business as usual. They can't let him go just because he's Life.

sAviOr got 120 hours of social service back in the day, I wouldn't expect Life to ever get more than that. Especially if the crime happened before he was a legal adult.

I dunno, something about the fact that he's been detained for more than a month now without news and the fact that apparently no one (not even KeSPA?) was aware of that when he was captured lets me think that (if he's guilty) it's way more important than sAviOr, maybe related to organized crime and shit. Or maybe I'm just pessimistic. You make a good point about adulthood though, how are non-adults judged in Korea compared to adults? Are there separate courts and such?

I think they(justice in Korea) arent sure yet what, or in how far Life is involved, but that he is involved is 99% sure. They thought Life would give information about how and with who he was involved.
If it isnt 100% sure, then there is no point in giving information before the judge speaks.

Would only bring more rumours. Maybe they learn frm the passed. People who are judged and later spoken free, they still have many people who think they where involved anyway.

He might not be detained. All we know is that he has been in prison. But he could have set free (till the trial) and just his lawyers told him to not say anything to anyone. The prosecution and police also dont have the needs to tell the public anything. And Kespa might want to keep their mouth as shut as possible, it is still one of the best players in the game and a hugh PR desaster.

So maybe he sits at home, prepairs for a new education step and the forced end of his carrier and just does not give any information out.

Until proven guilty he remains a brilliant kid that won simply by outsmarting opponents. There are such people, like Gary Kasparov for example, it doesnt necessarily have to be fraud to be real

Respect he might be losing, but he's still one of the best players ever. I highly doubt he won all or even a small portion his matches with match fixing. If anything, it might be more likely that he at some points lost on purpose, but hopefully not.

i loved life before this, and yeah he's a great player no matter what, maybe the best. but i don't believe in following a player based on skill alone. sports/esports aren't just competition, they're storylines, that's why people watch en masse. i can watch a game and enjoy it based on the skill of the players any day, but i'm not gonna call myself a "fan" of someone who doesn't deserve respect

i'm not trying to shit on the fanclub. but i don't think it's trolling or unreasonable for people who legitimately were always fans to say yeah, it's disappointing, and it will never be the same
