WTF is Life doing? He's playing ZvZ like ass again. OK, now he's way behind in the 3rd game again. If he wins this it'll be a miracle. I don't know WTF happened to him all of a sudden.

His ZvZ is bad. It has been since the end of WoL. I didn't have much hope seeing he was up against Scarlett.

Suggestions that Scarlett is a better player now is crazy, lets keep our heads here people. She seemed to have prepared for his style really well and it is commonly known he is not the kind of player who deviates too much. I am sure he will think about it and return a stronger player, I still see signs of 'Life' in his play, so here is hoping for a successful 2014!

His loss had nothing to do with his opponent preparing for him or his bad ZvZ. He just played really really bad, not like himself, or rather not like the Life we like, but like the one who sometimes shows up and makes us all scratch our heads.

When he was struggling in ZvZ, and I'm not saying it's better now or worse, it's hard to say, but when he was really struggling, he was losing even when he played well. He would do the things Life does, get little advantages and get ahead, but then throw it all away because of some ill timed attack or other bad decision that would cost him the game.

What happened yesterday was not that. Yesterday, he didn't play like Life. Scarlett played more aggressive than him ffs! He sat in his base and did nothing. He just played badly, with bad economy management, very passive, with little control over the game and no initiative. The only time he did play aggressive, in the 3rd game, he made a bizarre decision to take such a long route to the enemy's base just to avoid getting scouted, that by the time he got there, it didn't matter that he wasn't. He just played really really awful. He could have the deepest understanding of ZvZ in the entire universe, and if he played like that he would lose 3-0 every time, it wouldn't matter.

I don't know what was wrong with him yesterday, whether the long breaks and all the issues with the tournament made him lose focus or what.

With how much StarTale is cutting back on their SC2 team, Life's future looks uncertain. I doubt he is retiring considering his skill level and how vital he is to ST's success. But we might not see him attending many foreign tournaments in the future.
