feeling a lot more optimistic now. not happy about how things went vs TY, i woke up randomly at 2am and couldn't fall asleep again, it rly wrecked my condition and i needed my A-game, not B/C to defeat TY .. so there's always a lot of things to work on there but i did very well vs terrans in practice (in KR) so i think i'll be able to show better ZvT's back in Europe. ideally i'd be able to win even when feeling less than good but i'm not Stephano just yet xd

long-term i don't know if i can get good outside of a kespa environment. or at the very least korea. laddering only on korea is bad too, and i'd have to stack up on contacts to cg with. so I'm thinking a lot about how to progress further. most of it is just getting in shape, man, i am sure it would have gone better today if i was better at sleeping/exercising proper like king Dario.

anyway, would love to go on a trip to KR sometime soon again because i think it helps at least a little

I'm actually feeling super enthusiastic about how you've been doing, Snute. I think you did really well this tournament, and I hope you can carry forward with some of that motivation you mentioned. :D

Really hope you can find a stable way to continue improving, whether it's in Korea or elsewhere.

I wonder if Liquid could send Snute to practice and play in Proleague with Prime for example. Prime has nothing to lose, their best Zerg is BboongBboong, Snute would be a great addition to them. Snute would have a team to practice with. At least one round after Blizzcon would be good, maybe more if problems with WCS could be solved.

Small interview with Snute before ASUS ROG started -

He's doing well! Advanced to group stage 2 and will be up against Hyun, BBoongBBoong, and Welmu. Think he has a really good shot at advancing. :D

His group stage one games were only cast on the French stream, Ogaming, I'm afraid, and they even lock Twitch VoDs, so no go on those unless you happen to be subscribed. Apparently they'll be posted on the Ogaming youtube channel in a few days if you do happen to speak the language.

I just want to say I am very impressed with Snute's play and incredible consistency. When he was in KR I suggested him to take some time to enjoy being there and visiting and such, his response?

"i will try to have some fun :D but practice comes first"

He trains a lot more than he streams. And btw the stream yesterday was excellent, he plays so crisp. Some unlucky engagements and forcefields are still tough to handle, but overall a very mature and amazing player.
