It's unclear who or what Harem is. Experts have speculated that "Harem" is some sort of a cute amoebic substance, rotund and round embodying all the cuteness that exists in StarCraft: Brood War. Some researchers, upon much time in the field, have come up with two competing sketches for Harem's likeness

Of course, the above interpretations miss out on some of the more advanced features of Harem. Features include sniffing out PBUs simply through the user's posting habits and use of vocabulary. Harem also features a large memory bank that contains a large database of previously banned users for law enforcement purposes, TeamLiquid threads and VODs for research purposes, and memes for mocking purposes.
Harem is also the number one Zerg fan, loving everything Zerg and hating everything Terran and Protoss. In fact, Harem's love for Zerg was the driving force that got Harem to watch and suffer through StarCraft II, despite the neutered Hydralisks and defaced Zerglings.
Also, Harem is the only person to exist that cheers for Killer, the Brood War Zerg (ie: the real one, not the fake ones that exists in StarCraft II).
Essentially, one of the users that make TeamLiquid such an amusing place to be at.
