And yes, this next OSL is going to be pure SC2 and open to all players. That being said, joining a KeSPA team is a completely different matter. They have picked up SC2 coaches, but no KeSPA team has or will pick up SC2 players. ForGG can play in this coming OSL since it is open to everyone, but he has to join a GSTL team in order to play in this next season of Proleague. Additionally, I read in a blog from FXOBoSs that there might be some restrictions on foreign team participation and partnerships in this coming new season of Proleague, which is one of the reasons why the SC2 Esports Federation of GSTL teams was formed to fight for the rights to maintain such partnerships. So assuming that ForGG wants to participate in Proleague and focus on Korean leagues, he will most likely join a Korean SC2 team. I wonder which teams will fit him best. He joined oGs due to connections with its old coach/manager since both were formerly on Oz. He was truly an "Old Generation Starcrafter," Although I read in a rumors thread a while back that ForGG was considering either oGs, Startale, or IM when picking out his first SC2 team, so perhaps IM and Startale are still possibilities. | ||
