LOLLLL FORGG IS A CHEESY PLAYER END OF STORY User was warned for this post 2 rax vs toss is standart and not "cheese" While I disagree with how he worded his paragraph of shit, he's got a point. The matchup doesn't change whether or not a build is cheese. Think of when 4 gating was "standard" in PvP. Using something more often doesn't make it less cheesy. The fact is there are a number of terrans in the GSL and with success elsewhere who get by with abusive early-mid game builds, never going lategame, only doing the Terran faux-"all-ins". Terran has the largest variety of early game or 2 base timing pushes or abuses that a player can get away with, because no other race's units or army is as cost effective, thus they can have either more army and the same econ as their opponenet, or the same army size and better econ/tech. That being said, I hope he does well and all, I'd love to see him actually become innovative, and to test the mettle of more BW pros. But for right now it does indeed look like he's just been using the typical terran recipe for success. It's simply a good player using the same recipe, so he squeezes out another unit or two, or has better control, or hits a bit quicker, etc.

I just easily won a TvZ using his hellion marauder build. I love Forgg he shows me how to get quick wins against all races haha as Terran!

He's doing it on purpose for YOU peeps who watch his stream so you can enjoy his stream. It's a fan service, not "ForGG only knows cheese". and also so he can run another 3 ads after every game, just saying. Still, to each their own, sign me up.

I don't really get it to be honest. ForGGs play is purposeful, it's efficient and it has a goal. It makes so much sense to me to build from the ground up. Can I kill them in 3 minutes? Can I kill them in 5 minutes? Can I kill them in 7 minutes? He's learning so much about the game playing like this. He's seeing all the timings, all the weaknesses of opponents builds and maximising the potential of his own builds. 1-1-1 builds didn't dominate overnight; it took players brute forcing them game after game to find that perfect mix of units. Anyone who watches BW knows that ForGG can play a late game. In fact he has phenomenal late game multi-tasking. It will just take a while before he sees the needs to play that way. And even when he does start playing longer games it will only be if his opponent is good enough not to die to the plethora of fast, dangerous timing attacks that come there way. One of my new favourite streams, go ForGG!
