I dunno, it was build selection and decision making that was what was so magnificent in the last series. (though of course this was very strong throughout the tournament)-- This tournament he played with his characteristic micro and positioning but was able to choose builds like MC or MVP, didn't rush things, didn't get over aggressive... It's like all the little things that HerO often does that lose him games were gone, but his more brilliant aspects remained, and it was just solid solid play.

Hmm, i think taeja wasn't giving away games so much as he was using the wrong strats vs HerO . HerO had really well thought out builds and he also read taeja pheominally , it was kinda sad to see taeja get stomped like that though.

I couldnt agree more.
I was heartbroken every time Hero overextended with his blink stalkers and lose even though getting an advantage
in the early game T.T. It feels really great when a player you support overcomes his weaknesses and comes out on
top like Hero did this Dreamhack winter

Hahaha I remember this. Maybe it's fate that HerO will win every single Dreamhack Winter he attends (he's already won 2, so why not )
Monstrous play from him this tournament. Together with Taeja and Sea, Liquid in IPL5 will be a force to be reckoned with :D

Even though I was rooting for Taeja, you really outsmarted Taeja in the finals and showed superb gameplay and refined strategies. You are really a deserving champion and I hope you can ride this wave to accomplish even more in the future. Congratulations.

HerO!!!!!! <3 you! I hope you stream soon! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

HerO!!!!!! Great tournament, congratulations on your win!
The quality of the games across the whole tournament was outstanding. 23-2 in maps! And some really epic plays, and always seeming to make the right decision or comeback.
Especially excellent job reading Taeja in the finals. They really showed brilliant HerO play!
HerO fighting!!!!!

Wow, made a joke before Dreamhack that I was worried HerO would go 22-0 in sets and lose a PvP to go out early. Instead he goes about 20-2 and wins the whole thing. Really made my weekend, now for that GSL HerO!

Please sign me up! I first decided to become a fan of HerO because he is so frikkin amazingly incredibly handsome, but it was an awesome bonus to see that his play and skill were just as beautiful. Even though I quite like Taeja, I rooted for HerO today because he really deserves another tournament win, and where else to get it but in defense of his DHW championship? :D

Dominating play ! Congrats to you HerO that was well deserved.

Another interesting thing, he's closing in on top 10 SC2 earners, a good showing at IPl5 and the NASL could easily get him up the list!

Congrats Hero!!! You played so well! SO GOOD!!

HerO's face expressed like "Nothing will stop me this time! Champoinship is mine". Calm HerO so scary! Like a cold-blooded killer!
