I didn't get a chance to watch the games and there isn't a recap up yet. Can anyone give me a quick idea as to how his games went?

Imo he outplayed all his opponents but dropped games due to nerves.
i mean for god sakes he won with carriers lol

Game 1 against Curious on Metropolis they got into a late-game base trade situation against Mutalisks, but his defense was too solid and Curious lost too much and gg'd.

Game 2 against Curious on Dual Sight HerO did Stalker pressure instead of FFE and did a lot of damage, but made some mistakes trying to defend his third and the map layout helped do him in. He fell further and further behind until the Mutalisk count was overwhelming and gg'd.

Game 1 against Maru on Entombed Valley, Maru went for a 1/1/1 (variant) and HerO caught him unsieged at the ramp without Combat Shield. He lost too many Marines to Zealots and the push got cleaned up by HerO. Maru never managed to catch back up.

Game 2 against Maru on Antiga Shipyard, HerO opted for a late-ish expansion and 4 gate pressure, which he botched a little bit and didn't do enough damage. He tried to take a super early 3rd and tech up insanely fast to catch up, but the 3 early CC's, double upgrades, and drop play all over the place caused HerO to fall apart.

Game 3 against Maru on Daybreak, Maru proxied a Rax near HerO's base and went for some 2 rax pressure. HerO decided to delay his Core for a faster Nexus and ends up with a Bunker at his natural and contained to his main. Maru over extends himself and HerO breaks the contain with an army advantage, but then falls apart to drops and multi-pronged attacks in the midgame, loses too much tech and Probes, and gg's.

Haven't watched the second series against Curious yet.

EDIT: And yep, the games where he lost it was pretty clear it was due to nerves. Not handling drops correctly etc. You just need to relax man! You have Code S Ro16 which is already a huge accomplishment. Just relax, play your matchups like you know you can, and don't focus on the pressure! You're Ro8/Ro4 material easily, and can take the whole thing if you play your best!

Short recap of the second series against Curious:

Game 1 on Cloud Kingdom: HerO was under a lot of pressure by muta/corruptor and he made some mistakes (donating several colossus and phoenix) but with turtling on 3base and overextension with the mutas by Curious, HerO was able to stabalize and get to 4base late game army, while denying expansions. Curious messed up the transition to Broodlord-Infestor and made the mistake to have them outside his base on open field with only ~3 infestors. HerO did a huge blink under the broods and took them all down and shortly after that Curious GG'd.

Game 2 on Dual Sight: HerO opened Gateway-FE and executed the early stalker pressure better. Curious went for somekind of two base semi-all in with speedlings and roaches, but HerO could repell it with nice forcefields and static defense; Curious didn't do nearly enough damage. From there HerO had a commanding position. He went for blink and did a really nice push, where he blinked in the main base from the side cliff, with his sentrys and zealots staying behind. He killed a queen and the infestor pit (a few seconds before infestor energy could finish) and used sick forcefields to defend a huge ling attack on his split army. HerO went on to pressure the third and do warp-prism harass in the main base; after the remade ling army failed to take out HerO's force at the third base, Curious GG'd.

Seriously just jumped around my room after watching your matches. It's like the middle of the night here and there no one to be seen here. Been avoiding all SC related websites today to be able to watch the vods without spoilers beforehand.

I skimmed the results a couple of hours ago and pumped my fist in the computer lab.
