Such an amazing player! Too bad with the GSL this season but I hope Winter Assembly is a worthwhile consolation for dropping out of Code A, hope he'll be back next season!

P.S. Add me to the fans list please, thanks!

im not sure but probably Polt will get invite to code S.

Mr.Chae(GOM) have 2 Code S seeds for GSL march, and they will give spots for performances on foreigner tournaments.

Hey everyone, Mr. Chae actually has a tendency to interact with and listen to fans. The idea to send DRG over to MLG was fan idea so please tweet at him the idea of Polt getting a Code S seed.

Even though Polt was amazing with his play at Assembly I have my doubts whether he'd be awarded a seed for this.

I have the impression that the seeds are primarily aimed at foreigners to sell more viewing passes for the GSL. I'd guess that unless there are not enough foreigners that can make a case to get a seed they won't be given to Koreans that got knocked out of the GSL in the first place.

Compared to the last GSL we'll have IEM Kiev, Sao Paulo, Hannover; MLG Arena and Assembly as the big tournaments that have taken place between the two GSLs.

Currently you already have two foreigners that can make a strong case for a seed with Stephano (Assembly) and HuK (MLG). Based on their performances Naniwa (Kiev and MLG) and Dimaga (Kiev) can also make a good case as can Kas (Kiev) and Ret (Sao Paulo). I'll agree that Kas and Ret have more of an Up/Down case then a Code S one though.

Looking at the player pool for IEM Hannover you have people like MaNa that can start to make a case and also an opportunity for Dimaga and Kas to strengthen their case.

Having said all that though there is not only the part where you have to deserve a seed but also have to be willing to accept it. I am absolutely sure that HuK would accept a seed as he is already living in Korea. With all the others you can doubt that though. For example viOlet can make a pretty good case considering his victory in Sao Paulo and his top 6 finish at MLG.

Obviously this is why he must win IPL4.

That would be an awesome achievement. The only problem with that is that IPL4 is during the next GSL so it won't give him a seed for the next one.

The sponsored seeds are supposed to be for the players with best recent international results. Polt won Assembly with the hardest road to the final and beat down a top player from every race.

I just think if there is no foreigner bias and based solely on international results, Polt should be given a spot in next season. He qualified for NASL, IPL4, won Assembly, etc.

Right now, the two seeds probably should be Huk/Stephano and Polt. Depends on how Huk plays, but Stephano would decline anyway. It'll be interesting who Chae gives it to. I think he'll give it to at least one Korean this time to show that going to foreign tournaments as a Code A/Code B Korean is a productive thing to do.

Please. Naniwas road at MLG was waaay harder. Everyone knows Huk has great PvP, but he souldn't get a Code S seed based on that.

I'm pretty sure it will be Naniwa and Polt.

Polts play yesterday was absolutely AMAZING, i only watched the first game vs stephano and he lost so i got a little nervous. Come back 3 hours later Polt wins it 4-1.

After Polt defeated Hero he had to win the tournament to make up for it. Amazing play in the finals and truly the best player at the event.

He beat the stephano hype train into the ground some more, which I must give eternal <3 for.

also, sign me up. I'm a true Polt fan starting today.

I have been a polt fan for quite a long time. I adore his bio TvT and his astonishing ZvT.

But yesterday after the splitting in game 2 vs Stephano that left me with a stupid smile on the face after it was all over, I decided I should finally take the big step:
