Being expected to win, being the most watched player, and having all the pro's aiming to knock you off is very different from being the underdog out of nowhere-kid who has yet to win an event. Probably each of the attendees at the Battle of Berlin is going to study his play and prepare specific builds in the event they have to face him. Remember how aLive changed his style to beat him in MLG after losing at IGN...... everyone is going to do that now, to have something prepared and practiced to try and get Stephano off his game. I have no doubt that Stephano has raised the level of play in SC2, but I also know that the rest of the field won't be happy about it, and they're going to come after him and try to dissect his game and style. How do you stay a step ahead? I have no idea.... but I can't wait to find out :D

Stephano was never the underdog in european events, or at least not for months. And he surely did not come out of nowhere, he has been winning tournaments for nearly a year now. His development was one of steady and gradual improvement. I am quite sure European pros dont see him much different as they saw him a month ago. Some spectators that didnt know him might see him different, but I dont think that is an issue for him.

TLO is a huge race switcher. Starting with Random in the Beta than Terran during release then Zerg after that, later returning to Random before switching back to Terran and he only recently switched to Zerg. TLO is perhaps one of the most notable, if not only pro-player to ever race switching five times in SC2.
