And the Ro8 would be played before Dreamhack so he could just jump on a plane from Korea to Dreamhack and then chill in Europe for a week until IPL5/GSL in Vegas. There's still ESWC early November then Lone Star Clash II the week-end after that, i can't see him play in GSL if he doesn't drop from another tournament in November but to be honest i don't know the exact schedule of the season 5.

Razers point of view is probably very similar to most big sponsors, so to think they will disassociate themselves so easily without knowing that the people emailing them could be from an outside source(SRS) is extremely frustrating. Hope EGs sponsors are smart enough to realise where the hate is coming from. Actually I saw that and was actually more relieved than concerned about sponsor reaction to complaints. Razer guy explained that they constantly monitor the digital media and so are well informed about various players and how they are percieved by the community. If all sponsors are similarly in touch with the community then they are less likely to drop someone for making a single mistake or bad judgement call. So Razer guy was explaining about how Violet was 'more valuable' than Taeja from a sponsorship perspective and how popularity, interaction with fans, personality etc are very important for sponsors. I have mentioned before in this thread, how Stephano cannot scratch his nose without Reddit creating a huge thread about it and lots of comments being made on it. This further highlights how BIG Stephano is, in terms of public interest (within the SC2 fanbase). So someone like Stephano, who everyone talks about, is SO valuable to sponsors, because not only does he go deep in tournaments, but people care about what he does. Whether it is win or lose, it is noticed! So sponsoring him would create MASSIVE visibility for his sponsors, which is obviously what sponsors want. Stephano has a huge profile compared to other SC2 players, as shown by twitter followers, facebook likes, discussion threads. This makes him extremely valuable to sponsors, and thus also less likely to be dropped for making a bad joke.

He probably is going to play in the GSL, The IPL World vs koreans thing, ESW /WCS championships and is he qualified for ipl 5? It seems strange he would miss the GD Studio Invitational though, as he has a very good chance to win $4000, plus he will have a chance to hang out with Mana, Thorzain and Apollo, who are all good friends of his. Missing DreamHack Bucharest is more understandable, considering he is already qualified for DreamHack Winter.
