Bow down to your Master!

Stephano is on the verge of adding yet another title to his belt. I honestly cannot see him lose two series in the grand final vs any of the three players left.

I hope the "already won" was a troll, since he tend to lose when he underestimate players like Sase or Mana recently

Damn, Nerchio qualified to the world finals. The only real threat for Stephano in claiming world champion title.

Because there si 2/3 odds he faces a player he already won against in this tournament. Typical stephano anyway, not to be taken too seriously

I can only answer for the last ZvZ against Vortix on Antiga as i haven't seen the other games, to be able to play roach hydra infestors safely you need to know what your opponent is up to and need to have a LOT of gas.

In that game Vortix was under pressure after the small baneling attack on his natural, even if he didn't lose much he was forced to produce lings and spine, because he didn't know what Stephano was going to do afterward. Meanwhile Stephano was already transitioning (earlier gases, which meant earlier infestation pit as the casters pointed out and then faster 3rd). Faster 3rd which means more gas to produce hydras.

In summary if you're on an exact equal footing it can be risky to go hydra as they're very expensive, plus it's dangerous to attack with as they're so slow.

I think i'm not too far from the truth,

Hope Stephano wins this tournament, i was really worried after his recent losses in ZvZ but he seems to be ok with it atleast against foreigners

So if you know you playing against an aggressive opponent going Roach/Hydra is always a good idea? Even if it means less infestors?

The thing is, if you are max out, you can move out with roach hydra infestors and be agressive (and crush roach/infestor). But you need to have a perfectly balanced mix

The funny thing is that Nerchio qualified thanks to Stephano getting in top 6 and thus providing one more spot

No, infestors/roach > infestors/hydra
and only roaches > roach hydras
But hydra are a good boost when you already have 30-40 roaches to protect them. And a good economy, obviously.

That's wrong, only roaches is bad against roach hydra in a maxed situation. Excpet maybe of you are on a map that has no ramps and walls and can surround from every side.

Edit : And congrats Stephano =D Now go win this, ez.

Thats exactly what i said. We are talking about midgame situation, not late game 200 200. Hydras are good only when already maxed.

Hmm, ok, Thx for the advise:D Hope Stephano release some replays of this new style easier to copy then:D

Edit: Ok Stephano time to claim you rightful place. Just 2 more maps and Stephano is the European champion

If he will play with hydra, infestor, roach again it's easy win for him, since Vortix went 2 games roach infestor.. Auto lose.

GL and GG! May the better one win!
