Wooooo Bitter! Love your work in NASL! Only complaint is that I'd like to see you paired up with someone besides..... x ( Gretorp... Bitter / Incontrol would be effin hilarious.
he sounded good for the short amount i heard him on nasl.. only problem is gretorp might be mad he was overshadowed but other than that mrbitters was good and i dont say many casters are good
gogo mr bitter he was awesome at nasl hate how sloppy gretorp is with just general conversation. mr bitter (and incontrol btw) is just a really clever calm guy who just knows what hes talking about. id love him to take over gretorp on nasl tbh
Oh boy, it is about time that Mr.Bitter gets his own fanclub. Totally sign me up, we need some pictures here too :D. and p.s bitter told me on stream that he loves me <3 Bitter hwaiting! thanks for all the great stuff you've done so far and Good luck in all your future endeavours ;D
Always love your stream Bitter, has helped me so much. NASL casts were really good as well, somehow magically changed your shirt between games! very impressed
Bitter is an excelent caster, and his 12 weeks and the next 12 weeks are simply amazing for the community. Also he streams lessons too, this guy is really awesome.
Great casting in NASL. Your commentary on your stream is entertaining and analytic at the same time, really happy to see you doing it in other events as well. You could use your twitter to inform your zerglings about that stuff .
Sign me up! I am quite surprised this wasn't made before this point. I was a MrBitter fan before it was cool to be a MrBitter fan (a MrBitter hipster, as it were)!
Theres nothing I enjoy more than watching good 'ol Ben yell at some diamond newbie who's playing against frenchie and getting owned in ZvP.
WOW!!! A lot of casters have received some bad comments (a lot of them just haters hating tho), but I just can't find a single reason why this guy wouldn't be invited to major tournaments soon enough as a caster!!!! Great job Mr. Bitter, you just made me a fanboy!
MrBitter is the perfect example of what someone who wants to get involved in the SC2 community should do. This crazy guy who took lessons from pros for 12 weeks and streaming it is now invited to cast the biggest tournament on the NA scene, good job !
I laughed so hard at the mod picture, I look absolutely stunning. I have a lot of respect for MrBitter and the hard work he has put into everything for the community. Furthermore he is a great player and judging by NASL also an amazing caster. Sign me up, though that should be obvious
I had heard of this guy for a while, but had never seen any of his stuff until the NASL this week. I must say I am thoroughly impressed; Bitters has a great personality and is really enjoyable to listen to. Definitely going to be checking out 12 Weeks with the Pros now. Hopefully we'll see him cast more tournaments in the future.
I love this guy. Sign me up. Ok, I'm a Zerg player myself, starting to defeat Grandmaster Players recently. Now i'll watch all the Vods with the Pro Gamers to overcome some of my weaknesses. Cheers!
I love this guys casting. Makes NASL tons more fun!! (and it was already a regular event for me)
Hopefully we get to see him do some more casting, and it makes me sad that I payed like NO attention to the 12 weeks with the pros deal. O well, I'll be following him from now on.
I really enjoy your casting, mr Bitter. Also, you look a lot older than i imagined you would have ^_^ . Either way, hopefully you will be doing more casting in the future.
I feel like we may need a more active account on the OP. I don't know, it's only been 3 days, but not tending to a fanclub when you have 19 posts... it's iffy to me.
it would be very, very positive, if more people were like him. he has said multiple times, that ALL his coaching income goes back to the community by paying the different coaches to come on his show. now that is something to have respect for.
mrbitters you are very good commentator for nasl but when the camera goes to the studio you look like a stone cold killer with no remorse (redundant but watever)

Been ill, will update tomorrow (Tuesday)
Good to hear, thank you.
You should also probably format it more similarly to other fanclubs. Us simpletons want pictures ^^

I hadn't heard MrBitter cast any games before NASL, but that was easily the best week of NASL so far, as far as casting goes. I thought he was a little openly zerg biased but his casting (combined with Gret0rp's) put the other casting combos to shame.
I'm also a big fan of 12 weeks with the pros so good work and keep it up, MrBitter!
sign me up! Can't believe this man doesn't have more stream views. He has done a lot for the community, talks during his matches, has an awesome voice. This man deserves 3k-4k views.
On July 11 2011 17:25 zazzn wrote: Do you know where bitter is these days he was supposed to do coaching with me but never made it and haven't heard back form him.
All coaching and 12 weeks is temporarily on hold because he is moving.
Omg, i love his casting in the MLG. I normally hate listening to Husky, but he is like the perfect pair for him. At this moment i think he is the best commentator in SC2.
Loved his casting over the weekend. I had heard before this weekend that he was pretty zerg biased but either those reports were greatly exaggerated or he has had marked improvement as his opinion seemed pretty objective.
Congratulations on doing such a great job at MLG ben! Your casting is quite solid and I hope you can become a bigger part of the community with every tournament that you cast!
Good to see a successful move into casting! I quite liked the pairing with Husky personally. One thing is to watch where you're looking, should be to camera or to co-caster when you're on. You seemed to be looking down left a lot when you were sidetracked/struggling, makes it harder for your co-caster to come in and help out. Generally excellent though! A great escape from Day9's overly teachy-preachy-drooly commentary.
12 weeks and streamed coaching sessions have helped me loads, keep up the good work!
I really like watching u playing ladder, coaching, doing 12 weeks casting and what else u do ^^.
Great casting MLG, Blizzcon and ESL, could listen to u and Rotti for hours and have been! So here is a question, since i haven't seen u streaming, 12 weeking or even coaching for quite a time, are u moving to europe (germany(cologne)) in order to cast for ESL? Thought u would just casat from USA!?
i kinda hated his commentanting 1-2 month ago, but he did better job @ esl, either he is more chilled or someone pointed his mistakes, i honestly like him now, and there is good chemistry with Rotti
I was indifferent on his commentating a few months ago, but i've loved his casting with mlg and ESL. My only wish is that he didn't let his bias show as much
Mr Bitter, you are a wonderful caster. You are intelligent, funny and a really sympathetic person. And you have amazing synergy with so many other casters. You are a gift to this community, thank you so much for all you've been doing!
Edit: And you're one of the few casters who know how to pronounce Socke's name. =D

True dat!
I've had the pleasure to speak to you yesterday, and tell you in person how awesome you are (Eventhough i stuttered like a fool, and couldnt remember any english at all). You're great at what you do, keep it up.
Mr. Bitter, you were the friendliest guy at IEM, I enjoy your casting and your voice always makes me feel so comfortable. Seeing you say it was okay to just walk up and say something made me have the nerve and I don't regret it, I felt like a child getting to meet an astronaut talking to the progamers and casters there that usually only live in my "TV"/computer.
You are an upstanding person man. Cheers to you for encouraging me to come down there - I would never have expected to have such a blast or enjoy myself as much as I did. Definitely be looking forward to more of you at these big live events - hopefully more in Europe. Best of luck to you in future endeavors, and please, do sign me up for his fanclub.
sign me up please :D Watching IEM at the moment. Never see his enthusiasm waver, always encouraging of his co-caster, the players, community, etc, consistently positive (without being manic or frenzied). He strikes me as the consummate professional. That the strains of travel, long casting hours, and intricacies of 'vibeing' with co-casters/interviewees must take their toll, yet he seems to keep himself under such good control that it always seems like his first cast of the day, regardless of when I tune in. His ability to maintain such a positive attitude is inspiring, and something I would very much like to be able to do myself. I wish him the best of luck and much happiness!
your biased cast is a bit unprofessional what do you think? yelling like a girl but during hasu-elfi you were dead.dont like that. proud americans as FANS=ok as a caster=annoying. but you are good tho so sign me up
Great casting so far during IEM! I thought you were decent during the last one, but you are alot better now! Keep it up, and you and rotterdam will be the next great caster combo!

Mr Bitter and Rotterdam are a damn great casting combo. For me they're at the same level in being entertaining and giving depth analysis like Tastosis. Keep up the good work!
Im sorry but i dont understand how you can find this stuff funny. mr bitter is just vulgar, primitive, loud and aggressive when he is drunk. im the last person who would demand "professionalism" in an e-sports related show but come on this is just pathetic. when mr bitter is sober i think he is an alright caster together with rotterdam but when he gets drunk he is just very annoying.
I always thought he was just okay. Then he got drunk and started speaking more like someone who wasn't afraid of what others thought... And I love him, f-bombs and all. Sign me up.

While i usually enjoyed the "The grass is always greener" series, i agree that the last episode was over the top. I'm a MrBitter Fan since he started the 12 weeks with the pros and i will continue to be a Fan of his casting, but please, MrBitter, drink in moderation at least when you are in a show. I'm totally fine with getting a little drunk but there is a point at which it's "too much"...
PS: I'm hoping you let your hair grow back, liked your old hairstyle.
''im a 15 year old kid, and i was offended by mr bitter being drunk... he was so vulgar and mean'' qq.... let the chap have a bit of fun every once in a while, if you dont want to watch, you dont have to, but dont bitch about a stream you had no obligation to watch. i say kudos, bitterdam, i really enjoyed the show, having a laugh every once in a while doesnt hurt anyone, god knows you do enough for the community <3
Honestly I wish Mr. Bitter would be less bias when commentating games, it's obvious when he commentates he's rooting for every zerg player. Should treat every player the same regardless of the race they play, seemed like everytime there was a zerg vs terran/protoss he'd be giving more attention to the zerg player and was rooting for them more to win.
I loved your casting at MLG, some may call it bias, but I call it passion. I can see why it would make some people cringe ( i was rooting for mvp against leenock), and this type of casting would probably not be suitable for a final but it doesn't matter, you're awesome .

Hey everyone ... I don't expect anyone to know me here except maybe Mr.Bitter and Eternity, this is Oliva btw (Olivia as pronounced by Bitter haha) hope you both are doing well, it's been a year I know, sorry about that. Seriously hope you are both doing well though and I saw Bitter casting w/ Day9 recently. Way to fucking go champ. :D
sign me up. Great work at home story cup so far! Its nice how bitter manages to keep the whole thing professional and flowing, and still the light spirit of hsc.
yeah right dude. Your a great caster and all and you seem like a nice guy but honestly that was a HUGE exaggeration.
Kas is an amazing player and i would agree that he is top5 foreigner terran but not top5 South Korean terran.
Just because he takes down Zenio doesn't mean he automatically can be placed among top5 terrans of South Korea. Hell he hasn't even beaten any top5 korean terran.
I have nothing against you MrBitter but damn.... calm down on the overhyping. <3

well tbh i would rate them as:
1.MVP 2.MMA 3.Jjakji
and then the other 2 is debatable, even Jjakji is debatable since the main thing for him is that he won a gsl, he's losing to players he shouldn't lose to (imo). supernova, happy, ganzi, marineking, polt, sc, taeja, bomber are in competition for those 5 spots imo (maybe someone else i forget about)- those code s terrans that seem frightening but never win gsl. And he did beat mkp and took 3 game off ganzi, he also barely lost to ryung some months ago. so his tvt is not bad even vs koreans. yeah he lost to MVP but that's no shame i think.
that said him being in top5 is silly obviously. but i think he'd hold his own in code a/s better than idra/sen/naniwa, i can hardly wait to see him play vs more koreans.

Yeah that would be fun to see how he would do. But im still skeptical. I need to see it with my own eyes first. Because to me Kas seems kinda uneven. Maybe this is his breakout tournament though who knows. Im not a fan of him though but he's a really good player.
And i don't know if he would do better or worse than idra/sen/naniwa because i don't have a chrystal ball ^^ Will just have to see. Looking at what NaNiwa did at Providence (beating Nestea, MVP and DRG) you would think that he could win Code-S. But i can't know that. So i won't say stuff like that because past results is just past results. When your in Code-S it's a new chapter and anything can happen. You can go out to a player you never heard of before or you could beat a really well known player.
Also one thing that is worth mentioning is that far from all the top players where participating at IEM Kiev.
But i hope that foreginers will do well in Coda-A and Code-S.
Does MrBitter stop by here from time to time? Became a fan of yours in IEM Kiev...i love your Whitera impersonations. You look so handsome in the promo of iem sao paulo =) i hope to see u cast something in new york

about naniwa, i think it's worth noting that in the gsl you have a week or weeks to practice for specific opponents, in MLG they didn't, and naniwa went the same build in every game vs a zerg (nexus 1st ffe iirc) that noone but leenock seemed to predict. he did it literally in like 8 games, plus there was that shady quit the match into cannon rush thingy vs nestea... i'm really sceptical about naniwa's games vs koreans. kas to me seems more solid overall, but that's my subjective opinion ofc. but i doubt he'd go to korea, he makes more money in europe.

Kas more solid than NaNiwa? Based on what? Not getting into a fight here or anything but if im correct NaNiwa has done better overall than Kas.
Kas showed very good performance at IEM Kiev though so we'll see in the future Seems like a great guy and for sure he is very skilled and he did better than NaNiwa this tournament.
I liked him better when he was making his original show, when he was an "amateur". Waiting for a new episode each week with a different pro was really exciting.
Now though...he's just another caster. The magic is gone for me.
I was hooked since your first 12Weeks with the pros, and i want to say that i'll not judge you if you come out of the closet today. I wish you the very best in your endavor towards getting laid with Rob Simpson, i'm not sure if he's gay to but if you ask him i'm sure he will answer you that this is a great question.

Mr. B has GF I thought? Hahaha. Either way, this post made me laugh.
You rock, Mr. Bitter! Coaching with you was some of the best money I ever spent - broke into Masters thanks to your advice - now floating around top 40 on NA.
Keep showing the SC2 scene what a foreigner can do!
Sign me up. I loved 12 weeks. Learned a lot and I enjoy his casting as well.
On a different note, try to have a cup of water on hand whenever you cast. He alwasy starts out soo strong but part way through gets thirsty and has that cotton mouth sound that drives me crazy. It gets pretty bad sometimes where I have to mute it and just wait for him to drink some water and stop making that sound like his tongue is stuck to the roof of his mouth.
Don't know if you've focused to decrease the foreign bias when you're casting or not, but I feel like it has decreased. Very impressed by your casting at this IEM WC Bitter. Keep up the good work, really enjoying it!
I know this is a "fan club" thread but I was unable to find a feedback thread for Mr. Bitter I wasn't sure if this was the right place to give feedback and/or criticism...
You're such a happy, but deep character! Always a joke up your sleeve, without ever overstepping the bounds of good taste. You are as handsome, as your laugh is pleasant and catching. You imply a lot of game knowledge without seeming arrogant in the slightest. My mood always improves, listening and watching RotterdaM and you moderate the NASL.
Did you guys listen to the GSL cast yesterday where Tasteless was going on about his dream where bitterdam was buff and playing the guitar with their shirts off? Totally hilarious.
