Why do people post things like this. Look up the acheivements of the bonjwas, and remember that even Jaedong is not considered one.

NvZ IMBALANCED!!!!
E: and people who call nestea bonjwa dont know shit about bw they probably came onto the scene with sc2(which is fine) but they shouldnt talk about things/words they have no idea about

Way to go, mixing MC and Neastea up http://ehcg.djgamblore.com/index.phpThey're about even, MC has about $1.000 more then Nestea this point. Sorry about that - it's fixed now. But I think I'm right anyways. NesTea is still ahead if you take this GSL: Prize-money earned (Korea + International):1. Nestea = $197,647.00 2. MC = $197,611.00 3. Polt = $100,517.00 The KWON -> USD is a bit different now. But it's really close, yes. [/i] That's wrong. MC already earned 199,000 k plus he made some money from ro8 this GSL. MC is still the most successful player so far. sc2earnings.com Also he has basically a personal sponsorship from SK.

You forget that all US prize money (no matter what type of competition) are subject to 33% tax. So, if you decrease MC's 25K(NASL) + 2K (MLG) earnings by 1/3 (9K), Nestea is still number 1

When would MC pay these taxes? At the bank? And we're just counting tournament prize money advertised...not most won after tax season. MC is first on sc2earnings

It all depends on the currency exchange rate with KWON to USD + the date you to the conversion. As you can see there's $4000 difference between SC2Earnings and this site: http://ehcg.djgamblore.com/index.php (they also forgot to add StarsWars tournament here, but it's still a difference).
I did the calculation and there NesTea is about $500 more than MC, SC2Earnings have another calculation.
The difference is really small and it's not that anyone is wrong, it's all about the exchange rate when the prize earnings are so similar.

Congrats on becoming first BONJWA (re: b-o-n-j-w-a) of SC2! You earned it! You are the man. Also, your IQ is 10,000+.
Just kidding about being so blatant about the use of "bonjwa", I know it's a sore spot for certain elitists
But really, how about we just coin a new, even cuter little title for SC2 dominators? I mean, it's quite obvious that NesTea's power and sophisitication in-game is to other players' as the military & technology of the United States is to that of the next 20 countries combined...in short, he's REALLY, REALLY, LOPSIDEDLY GOOD.
Anyone out there who knows Korean know of any good titles we could start calling him to which we could ascribe equal or greater meaning than this 'bonjwa' word (that is a sore spot for many)? Sooner or later we're going to have to call NesTea something. Brainstorm, go!

NESTEA HIMSELF said that he needs at least 3 more GSL wins to be considered a bonjwa.

sc2 has not experienced the level of dominance that players in the bonjwa category delivered to bw (yet) because if nothing else it hasn't been allowed time.
educate yourselves on just how dominant the 5 bonjwas of bw actually were (are) before you make claims.
b-word aside, i love you nestea. NesTea == Bonjwa. Sorry.
NO! He is not... very impressive win.... but to be a Bonjwa you have to win like this OVER A LONG(Emphasis on LONG) period of time.... none of his GSL titles are successive(As far as I know) and he has not outright dominated for more then a month.... he is not a fucking Bonjwa... this game hasn't even been out long enough to claim a Bonjwa...
Grats on the Win Nestea!! You are an amazing player and hell someday you might earn the title Bonjwa
