The insinuation is that beating MKP would have little effect on improving his status. It was probably a little frivolous, I forgot MKP took MVP to a 6th game in the world championships, I was thinking of the cheesy builds he failed with prior. I donno, after MMA, Ryung and MVP, damn.

The only way i can see arguing that MVP was not trying his hardest was because his mouth was not open like how he usually plays in intense games. But i don't think that was the case because bomber's decision making was off the charts.

DOes this match mean Bomber is better then MVP? No. Is it arguable? you bet. 1 bo7 doesn't decide whos better especially since they were practicing as friends before the matches. But I've been a bomber fan since I saw him in the GSTL. More matches too come for sure, we will see who is the best Terran :D

The evidence that MVP wasn't trying his hardest is that his play was sloppy, he let himself get supply capped a few times, and just generally got out-macro'd. We know what MVP's mechanics and macro are usually like, so we can definitively say he wasn't at his best. I'm sure he was trying hard, and I don't mean to take credit away from Bomber for what was an excellent victory from one of the most impressive terrans on the scene. I'm a big fan of Bomber, and he was better than MVP on the day. MVP at his best though, I still feel, is completely unstoppable.

MVP said in an interview that he was just interested in practicing for some tournament or something like that and didn't practice too hard for the game vs Bomber because he was guaranteed into the Up/Down matches.

Bomber's really good though and the series was close but MVP's play felt a bit off compared to his games vs (for example) MKP.

Due to Blizzard deciding to apparently patch things the week before the GSL finals (lol -__-), GOM have decided to move groups E&H forward a day to avoid running into possible issues with battle.net being patched.

As such Wednesday becomes:

1:00PM KST (9PM PST, 7:00 AM CEST) Group E, F
6:10PM KST 2:10AM PST)/Group G, H

Basically Bomber's going to be at a normal time, but a day earlier than he was originally scheduled ^^
