That translated tweet implies enough IMO, though.

He looked like such a badass, yet so happy and friendly at the same time. I remember when it was IM vs. Startale (in GSTL1) and Bomber had just Then the camera switched view, and BOOM. There's Mvp. Walking out of the crowd and into the booth. That classic Mvp smile on his face, yet still managing to emanate that fearsome aura that is unique to only players of Mvp's calibre. I don't get the same feeling from him now with his new look. =(

Once the camera switched to him and he started walking, the only thing that could be heard was Tastosis saying ZOMG!!! That's how you measure the epicness of a player ![]()

The fact that MVP has vowed to not use 111 in a tournament match takes a huge burden off the minds of Protoss players. I'm still not confident in MVP's TvP to say that he has better than a 50% chance of winning against Puzzle without using 111. He won't 1-1-1 all in, he does 1-1-1 builds off two bases --> See game vs MC. His are stronger, deadlier, and less reliant on winning in one shot. He will roll puzzle, assuming puzzle even gets there.

He will roll puzzle, assuming puzzle even gets there. There are many counters to the build MVP used (just a two base contain that happens to have units from all 3 tech trees). The primary counter, and easiest one, is to just 4-gate him first. If MVP won't use 111, there's nothing to stop Puzzle from cheesing him back, which is what I fear. ...and seriously, that's just one build. Do you honestly think MVP will use the same build 3x in a Bo5? If the other games become macro games, they're pretty much toss-ups imo. I find it curious how you would have so much confidence in MVP's TvP ability based off of one win against MC, especially considering Puzzle's PvT is monstrous. Maybe I'm overrating Puzzle, and/or underrating MVP's TvP...I don't know. But, all I'm saying is, MVP's road to 3 championships won't necessarily be entirely free of nasty bumps if he beats NesTea.

You're assuming Puzzle will get past Ryung, and I don't think he will. If Ryung is honorable, of course, he won't 1/1/1, but for some reason I don't see that happening. Ryung's not like MMA where he's content just for a Code S spot, after all, and I definitely see him as a player who will use all the weapons in his arsenal to win. But hey, maybe Puzzle will surprise me.
