Okay, hoping for a Terran that isn't MKP to win first in group C, that way the second place in group D is likely not to be favoured against that Terran, (MC/Oz/Squirtle/Maru not the best against T), then Mvp gets a TvT in the semi's.
That's assuming he beats NaNiWa though, but in general I think he'll fair better and be able to practice more against him due to his form (NaNiWa so far hasn't really seen that many builds from Mvp in TvP that weren't poorly executed due to his wrists), and also Korean players tend to try a lot harder against foreigners, especially on their own soil.
This is just speculation, but I really want Mvp to win a 4th GSL, albeit in underwhelming shape this season he's still managed to make Ro8, so I'm hopeful he can struggle through the pain for his next title.

Yea same here. He's the only SC2 player that I get the 'wow' factor that I got when watching pro-BW.

If Mvp can beat NaNiWa and Oz can beat PartinG I think Mvp has a shot at a 4th GSL title (maybe), but then again the TvP match up in GSL looks very P favoured so far, but we'll see.

That said, I hope Terran players can work harder on strategy and finesse in their play. P v T has become "P favoured" partly because Terrans have not improved their play for a long time. I don't know what they can do to prevent chargelot back-doors during major fights. Or even beating chargelot-archon-colossus. Protoss players have become quite astute through their trials by fire. Terrans have stuck with a massive bioball, trying to ram into protoss armies, eating storms etc. Makes me think of 3-base hydra all-ins against Protoss in BroodWar.

I just wish something else was a viable path to take in TvP
Tanks get shit on by pretty much every single unit the protoss has, except sentry. Only usage we see of tanks is in the early game pushes/allins with marine tank and such, where the toss doesn't have enough to deal with both the marines and the tanks. And when they do, the terran force gets steamrolled.
As much as I want MVP in the finals and taking it, I also don't see him making it there. What I do hope for at the very least though is that he absolutely shits on naniwa. Never liked the guy, never will.
Who knows, maybe MVP will turn on the godmode and fight through his wrist issue to show us some inspirational shit, but as everyone is already assuming, this season seems to be in the hands of protoss by a gigantic margin.

Mvp with carpal tunnel in both wrists and unable to practice makes it into the ro8 of code S. MMA, MKP, DRG, MC, NesTea - none of them can say the same right now.

That would be indeed quite the story... The injured TvT and TvZ king wins a GSL full of protoss. I like that idea, but I don't think it will happen. Protoss players are to strong right now and Mvp can't practice all to much because of his wrists.

According to recent posts from IM he was trying to get some treatment this week, so perhaps that's good for his wrists, but it still means he hasn't been practising for a lot longer than the rest of the players (i.e NaNiwa).

You have to look the top levels of play. T's advantage now is when stim/medivacs are out and P still teching towards AoE... However, the top Ps are so good at defending during that period that they take minimal damage. And unless you do decent damage mid game, Protoss late game army just trades too effectively. Also, P's acutally have a pretty sick early game. Terrans has more variety but Ps with their mass gateway sentry or immortal timings can kill you unless you scout and have 4-6 bunkers...
Overall, considering there are 5 Ps in Ro8, MVP's path is actually not too bad... Naniwa's PvT is probably 4 or 5th amongst the 5 Ps and if Oz can take out PartinG, that will be good for MVP as well since Oz can be quite inconsistent. But I still see MVP coming up with some mid game timings becase honestly, that is the best strategy for T right now. And maybe a build that punishes quick thirds by P.
