Btw, the Boxer biography link on the OP, sadly, does not work anymore, at least for me. Does anyone know of a different way to obtain the biography?

Sorry to see the Emperor go down to Seed, even though he is a fine player and it's a real tough matchup metagame right now. Does anyone else get the feeling that BoxeR's epic resurgence through Code A qualifiers and back to Code S (and epic it was given the context) was sort of a last big shot at playing glory for SC2? I know he was working his ass off that whole time, and leaving it all on the field (or screen as it were)... which is tough for a man of BoxeR's age and responsibilities. And now he has started the official coaching position also, I wonder if perhaps he may be lowering playing on his list of priorities right now. Either way, it has been a pretty amazing ride. He has produced some of the most memorable moments I can associate with the SC2 era

Seriously though, he has been playing competitively for 12 years...12 years! Most BW pros (since SC2 is still too young of a game) did not last more than half that time. It's crazy really, when Boxer was playing guys like Maru and Dream were like 2 years old. He's truly a timeless champion and an inspiration. He will be playing in the Iron Squid tournament, and knowing Boxer's competitive spirit, he will not retire if he is still in the GSL (Code A or S).

And I share the sentimend that if he would retire something wouldn't feel right in the world anymore. Boxer is our champion! All hail the Emperor!
