I am still a Naniwa fan, but Naniwa, please think of us. When we pay money and get up early in the morning to watch a potentially epic grudge map with Nestea and we see a probe rush we are super disappointed.
The other games, you showed good games even in tough losses. I was proud to be a fan after nearly pulling off the victories against Leenock and MMA, but I was so disappointed about your decision vs Nestea.
Please think of us, and play a game for the fans next time no money is on the line.

I decided to sleep through all the games, because I knew they wouldn't mean much given the circumstances.
Go go!

I don't even play this game. Didn't even play starcraft one.
And I fully support you and have been a fan since I saw you at the last MLG. I admire you and I am envious of your desire to win. To many people these days are afraid to show their true emotions for fear of retribution.
Please if my word means anything, don't give up or change and keep doing what YOU want to do. If people truly care about you OR the game, they will want to see a winner.

It ended up being more memorable anyway because nobody else has the balls to do it as blatantly as you Nani. You are seriously telling me a 4gate would not have been more interesting. Oh god. Not really. He probably would have lost and no one would remember that game in a few days. Why would he have lost? You seriously think NesTea would lose to a 4 gate?

Naniwas ability to simply not give a fuck keeps on impressing me :D Have a great semester and merry christmas:D

It's 8 times more insulting for Nestea to say that I can loose to a 4 gates than what Naniwa did ... Btw he showed some great game and can't understand why people with that so huge ... Still and even more a left-handed fan ! Naniwa fighting !

When i later found out he probe rushed, it made me smile.

kinda agree with his choice to say fuck it and just probe rush. guess its more a fault of the the tournament set up that the game simply doesnt matter..

Other sports have seasons where not all the games will matter. There is something called pride and professionalism.

I hope your skill as a player somehow surpasses your passive-aggressive relationship with fans, sponsors and tournaments. Don't kid yourself, you were never a fan. His fans are his fans, this 'passive-aggressive' doesn't even make sense here. You would rather him play a game (which he certainly did) where the strive to win is all but diminished when he's already out of the tournament? Tournaments will have to sort out ordeals like this, so it shouldn't happen to any other progamers.
As mostly a purist, yes, I would have actually enjoyed seeing him do anything except purposely throwing away a game. I took that as a pretty big fu as a fan of his play. I don't watch nani play in big tournaments to hope that he does something stupid, I watch him to watch his play. Loosing or winning, if you are really a fan of someones play, you can see it whether they win or loose, move on to the next round or not. I am a fan of players who show good games.
I was a huge Naniwa fan, but I can't ignore his selfish attitude and his passive aggressive stance where when he has some success or something to win "I'm going to manner up from now on and show good games!" and when he has nothing to win he says through his games "FU guys I'm going home".
I don't troll fanclubs, and as a fan of a player it's a relevant place to post this.No need to respond to this, as I am not going to contribute to any type of flamewar in a fanclub, just wanted my thoughts as a former fan to be heard.

For a community that is supposedly so more mature compared to others, it's a shame some players recieve so much hatred and bad press. I know what it's like being put into a high pressure situation, coming out short and having to keep going after such an emotional blow. I hope everything goes well for you in the future.

Money talks shit walks. If they put money in for those matches im sure he would play to win, otherwise there is no reason to show your tactics/buildorder in a meaningless game.

We all know Naniwa only plays Sc2 games pretty much for money.. and fame. So yea, that's an easy solution.

I mean, I doubt it too, but at least there's a fucking chance. There's a moment when their supplies are close to equal and Naniwa has a chance to micro, ff the ramp or something. There's a difference between doing a blind cheese/all-in and doing a probe rush.
