Q: GoOdy, 3 matches, 3 wins. You can be pretty happy with that, right?

A: Yeah, my start was pretty good, although there are only 6 people in each group and 4 will advance, so advancing is not very hard but a good seeding is also important.

Q: Now you lost a map in your last match. Does that bother you personally that you couldn't show the type of play that people are used from you recently?

A: Well, I actually only made one big mistake and that one decided the game then. I thought I was quite well ahead and then I ran into his tanks and lost quite many units. Then I lost to the counter but I still won 2:1, so it's no reason to get upset.

Q: Who would you like to have as your opponent for the playoffs and who would you like to avoid?

A: I believe it would be hardest against HasuObs. I believe I win most games against ClouD and Delphi. Well, I could also beat Hasu but if I only had to meet him in the finals it would be good.

Q: So your goal here is to reach the final?

A: Yeah, there aren't so many people here and the group of players is not that strong, so the final would be pretty good.

Q: Apart from Hasu ClouD and Delphi should be your strongest opponents, right?

A: Yeah, true. StarEagle that I just played is pretty good too and as far as I know ClouD also just lost again LoZ. I believe he is Zerg and also pretty strong but we will have to see.

Q: Is it dangerous for top players like you to enter such a tournament with unknown names that you might underestimate?

A: LoZ and StarEagle are known names and you know that they aren't that bad. If you underestimate them it's your own fault and against people that you don't know at all you shouldn't go for an arrogant playstyle. I mean you play on the ladder and if people feel like they have 2000 points less than you on there then you are clearly better and you should just play a solid game and don't take any risks.

Q: In the last weeks you had convincing results, especially online. You beat Nestea in TSL. Did you change something about your game and your playstyle compared to the past that made you come into the spotlight now?

A: Not really. It all came very suddenly. I believe TaKe and ClouD also pushed me quite a bit. Sometimes I improve my playstyle and my build orders a litte bit but the basics have always stayed the same.

Q: Let's talk about the hype around your person. You are called "the king" now sometimes. How do you think about that?

A: Yeah, I also got such a fanclub on Team Liquid. There are always some funny pictures. I actually like it and take it with humor. I look there regularly and I also have to laugh when there are new good pictures. I am definitely not upset about it, more the other way around.

Q: Your online performance: You beat Nestea in TSL but missed the playoffs in EPS. What is your explanation for that?

A: Well, I had a bad start in my group and also the hardest group with Hasu, TLO and Insolence, all 3 of them are pretty good players. It is also because of the new system. It is more exciting but not really quite fair. But the EPS is only one event of many, so it's not really that bad. Of course I would have liked to advance but there are still enough other things that I can concentrate on.

Q: For example?

A: For example the TSL and the NASL.

Q: Again about the EPS: I think it will still be your goal to keep your slot and overcome the playdowns?

A: Yeah, sure, it also shouldn't be a problem normally.

Q: That means the EPS is more a nice addition for you?

A: Well, it is a good event but it's not like it's the only one and there are many good and small events too.

Q: So what is your first impression of this event after 2 days in Italy?

A: The location is pretty good, it's not so crowded and the athmosphere is good. Yesterday after the games we went out with the other players to eat Pizza and drink something, was quite funny for sure.

Q: Did you imagine it differently? More players?

A: Yeah, to be honest that surprises me indeed. 2 months ago at Assembly the prize pool wasn't really bigger either and there we even had players coming from Korea and the USA and here there are only so few. I really expected more people to come here, especially since you already win money in the top 8.

Q: Actually that can only be good for you because it will be easier for you.

A: The problem is that it might be easier now but the question is if there will be another event if it wasn't a success. For now it might be good.

Q: If there was another event here, would you participate again?

A: Well, I think so. I want to play as many events as possible in the near future.

Q: So there is no end in sight for you?

A: Not for now, no.

Q: What apart from NASL and TSL do you plan to play? DreamHack?

A: DreamHack for sure. Then Copenhagen Games in Denmark and probably also a tournament in England in 2 weeks. And of course all the regular online cups and such.

Q: If there is also England and Denmark on your plan for this month, is there even enough time left for other things than playing? You are basically flying from tournament to tournament.

A: Well, the weekends are pretty packed indeed but during the week I still have enough time.
