It wasn't really crushed, but it looked pretty convincing in the end: First game he went for a heavy one base push that almost worked out, but didn't quite get far enough in before MMA's siege mode was done to win with it. MMA did some counter dropping in response and did quite a bit of eco damage, and eventually forced MKP to have to give up his forward position leaving MMA a long way ahead in eco and in comparable tech so he rolled through soon after. -- Second game they both went 15 cc, mkp attacked with a really nice combat shield timing catching MMA right before siege was complete, cancelling it, taking out MMA's attempt at a fast third and killing a lot of scv's. Game should have been over by that point but MKP made the biggest mistake I ever saw him make and forgot to un-follow his marines from his medivac drop into MMA's nat...it led to almost his entire marine force just walking to their deaths TT MMA repaid the favour though and got over aggressive trying to deny MKP's own third which just resulted in him losing a huge chunk of units. After that MKP never put a foot wrong, quick to react to harass, expanded like mad (7th base on the way as he maxed xD) and dominated the remainder. -- Third game MKP went 1rax expo into tanks, while MMA went for a 2rax (1 maka) push. MKP defended without too many losses, counter pushed MMA later and traded things back in his favour. Superior eco, superior tech, and then some good tank line busting (preserving his tanks while thinning out MMA's) let him just roll on through to siege up at MMA's nat and eventually his main. -- They were decent enough games, a nice illustration of how much more comfortable he seems playing marine/tank at a high level lately ^^ I maintain that it really seems he put a lot of time into it after his loss vs Nada, since he's used it a lot more lately (see games vs sC at fxopen etc) | ||

And then he goes on to lose to 2 more games in a row against HUK. It's hard for me to imagine that this is the same MMA that took games off of MC, July, and MVP. You're not supposed to lose to Huk if you've beaten MC. And it's hard to imagine losing to MarineKing's TvT when you've beaten MVP who almost never loses at TvT. | ||

Glad to see that MKP uses marine + tanks which any terran should do to get consistent result. He must be practicing hard after the game vs Nada where he went for marine marauder which didn't work. Go go MKP! He will dominate sc2 if he plays like a real terran. | ||

Like, he should have never lost to a Terran like Nada especially after he destroyed Nada so hard in the first 2-3 minutes. I hope that put things in perspective for him and he'll start making tanks because making marines/marauders when your opponent has 8 3/3 tanks isn't the best idea. He has amazing decisionmaking when it comes to most games really, he should just stop trying to be so stylistic. It's not like we'll love him any less if he actually plays to win. I'm sure watching him play the usual chess terran style would still be amazing with his micro and macro! | ||

I don't think you understand Teamleagues.... at all. MMA sniped those players, i.e. he prepared heavily to play July, Mvp, MC where they didn't prepare for MMA at all... because they didn't know they would face him. This is different, both players in these matches prepare equally for each other. Plus, even if it wasn't a snipe on Mvp, being 1-0 against someone means nothing. Who's to say that he wouldn't turn that into 1-9? MKP is 3-12 against Mvp, who's to say that MMA wouldn't be at that record if he played Mvp 15 times? Especially without that win being a snipe. In regards to Huk, see above except replace Mvp with MC. Also, why even post this here? What's the point, it doesn't belong here. Also, [directed to the last page] his old alias Ellen Page is not towards the girl in Inception as he had that alias for much longer than that movie has been out. | ||
