MC didn't get a single Zerg, his best matchup, and 2 Protoss players, his worst matchup. I suspect he'll beat Maru, but even that is up in the air.

There is nothing wrong for Mc to pick Maru. I think there is no point for Mc to be overconfident with this group which is a good thing. And I am sure Mc can find some of best pvp practice partners in Korea to help him. No matter what happens, we all know Mc will practice a lot of pvp starting from today which is a benifit for himself overall. Despirte looking tough, I look forward to watching Mc playing good games in ro16. Mc Fighting.

While beating Inca in Ro32, MC shows he can survive in high level PvP with intensive micro and speed decision making. MC hwaiting!

His win against InCa looked more like MC studied InCa more than InCa studied him, and he even said in his interview that he knew InCa's play really well. Against Squirtle, he came pretty close at IPL4 to beating him, but MC's PvP in general is looking pretty dire at the moment - especially considering how good some other players are at the MU, and how good MC is at PvZ. edit: right, scrap that. https://twitter.com/#!/sk__mc MC has said he will kill them. He will win.

Now Protoss is on a real resurgence and MC has to get back up to speed in a match up he has let fall to the wayside for the better part of the year. This group could be a blessing in disguise- MC is beyond aware of his weakness in PvP at this point (judging by his need to reassure his fans). And with multiple P players he can't even just prepare for a player, he has to really prepare for the match up. It is a match up he once had a 90%+ win rate in, and plays to the strengths of his infamous micro and aggression. He may not be the favourite to make it out of this group, but it is far too early to count him out just yet.

I trust in MC to patch up his PvP issues before his games though!
