If it took you several years to make it to the elite status youre at now, why would you jeopardize that by becoming a style of player that we know you arent. User was warned for this post User was temp banned for this post.

We get it, you were never looked at as a top-end player and you have basically gotten all that credit all at once, but dont adapt your game in order to continue gaining attention, stick to what got you hear, just look at what happens to players that begin to do "whatever it takes to win".. they fade away into mediocrity. User was warned for this post You do what you need to do to win the game, especially with the potential for $85,000 USD. Your job first and foremost is to win. And no, if you do what it takes to win, and if you do win, you won't fade into mediocrity. If you lose in general, you'll probably fade into mediocrity.

I do personally feel that the spawn positions was rather unlucky for IdrA. And was it true that Jinro was able to hear the commentators shout 6pool? To quote what jinro said he said, "i heard a OOOH" probaly lots of players in those booths have heard stuff in there before, since its not probaly so quiet there.

So no it didnt make a big impact. Arent the booth suppose to be sound proof + players wear headphones so.. o.o

He said he heared them yelling "Ooooh" and decided to scout, but he didn't see anything anyways because he took the wrong path or whatever. DocOwnage's post is just retarded, everyone knows Idra is a macro beast so Jinro decided to throw in some early aggression to delay the hatch (in form of two bunkers with one rax + he took gas, so it was obviously not an all-in), while Idra is the one that played an all-in 6pool in game 4. I guess everyone (including Idra + Jinro) would've liked a more epic series, but it turned out different and imho the games were skillwise still pretty good.. and Jinro totally deserves advancing to the ro4.

For someone to follow the same basic guidelines and stay below the ranks for YEARS to suddenly change in a matter of months he better be carefuln to not lose his values. GL to jinro in his future.

It's not an emotional thing, I'm an idra fan, I was hoping idra would win, I think his loss was in no small part from the maps, but the bunker rush decision in game 2 was completely solid, even from a macro game standpoint. Your assertion is completely based on the idea that any offensive bunkers = cheese, which is completely false. So shut up and get out.

Jinro should value winning above all else and do whatever it takes to win. If it means to adopt the "cheese" style needed to win, then by all means he should do it. For example, many people do not like Protoss 4 warp gate. However, if I remember correctly, on the Korean ladder, the current meta-game for PvP is very 4 warp gate-centric play. If you were being paid to play the game professionally, you have to generate the result of winning, otherwise what are your sponsors paying you for; to hold to someone's standard of "good" play?

User was warned for this post i have to some extant agree with this, i have lost my respect for jinro. I know he proborly doesnt give a shit but that doesnt matter. I was so impressed in season 3 by jinros solid and methodical play but now he just took out a (in my opinion) a better player with crap play and then even denying his cheese in the interveiw. But this is sc2, the better player doesnt always win unlike in sc User was warned for this post
