Huk always does well at MLG. Here's a list of recent accomplishments.
2011 MLG Anaheim 7th (top foreigner) 2011 MLG Raleigh 7th (top foreigner) 2011 MLG Orlando 1st (top foreigner) 2011 MLG providence 5th (only behind naniwa) MLG winter arena 3rd (top foreigner) 2012 MLG winer championship top 4 (top foreigner)
In other words, he's been the top foreigner in 5 of the last 6 mlg events.

huk kills reapers with probes only top 3 control

HuK is the only foreigner who has really had consistent results against Koreans in high end tourney's like MLG and GSL. Stephano is a baller, and I feel like he is also capable, but we haven't seen him in the form at MLG that he is in other tournaments. Naniwa is also a baller, but he seems to have trouble at GSL. Love all 3 of them, and wish them all the best, but HuK never seems to let me down.
Keep it up HuK! I really hope you can crush Heart here. Top 3 finish would be awesome.

again you made us proud huk, thanks for the good games, look forward to seeing your 3rd MLG win in the future.
|
Too bad for the loss, but still a great run! HuK hwaiiitiiing~~~
|

Stephano has problems with long tournaments because he doesn't have as much stamina to play that long, but I agree. HuK is really consistent. This high finish proves it again.

outlasted all the other foreigners, best foreigner results-wise in the biggest tournies. If people based their opinions on just that -everyone would respect you as the best foreigner. good run.
|
WP HuK! An awesome performance and a very good run. Keep it up, HuK!
|
Fun fact Huk made more money with his 4th place here than his first place at Orlando.
He had a good run, WP.
|
GG WP HUK! IT's so close, Maybe next time :D
|

Nice, was looking for something like this. Just seems like him, MLG, and success go hand in hand in hand.

man i think if huk works hard on his pvt he definitely can take another tournament really soon. can't wait!
|
good showing mate. again top placed foreigner well done!
|
His PvP winrate vs. korean skill level players in the last few major tournaments (Arena, GSL, this MLG) is 14-2 o.O

I don't understand why HuK always seems to get all foreigners as his matchups... If he happens to play a Korean, it is a protoss always... ??!?!
