[–]LiquidHuK 1225 points 2 days ago i know EXACTLY what you mean. i got this really great guy in my life right now, we've known each other for maybe 1-2 years personally and altho it started out as just friends, we've grown to so much more then that... When we first met we were both kind of shy but soon we both found out we have the same interests, and were both so competitive in those interests! The only problem is if I win, he gets so mad. Blames everything on anything and never just admits that it was a GG and that I played better, smarter, faster, or whatever; its quite ridiculous. Slowly but surely though over time (although at first we just tried not to play together, or at least not discuss the matter if I won), I have slowly been trying to talking to him about games that I win over time. More and more every time, gradually I think hes starting to learn to accept losses and take them as growing experiences instead of just losses. It also helps to watch your partner play, lose to other players, then console them and bring up things about why they may have lost ( in very careful, loving, mannerly ways); this way they trust you more and you can grow more together!
