losing respect over someone executing a strategy they think will win them a game is pretty silly. it is not thorzain's fault it's in the game, and you should play to win. i wasn't impressed with thorzain or anything like i was huk, but you shouldn't have any negative feelings about what thorzain did unless he actually did it terribly, which he didn't. for what little skill it takes, he did it pretty cleanly.

if doing it pretty cleanly meant having it won then throwing it away by being indecisive......then i guess i'll have to agree with you

Like, seriously. You're hating on someone for doing a strong build? Thorzain isn't Blizzard's balance designer, that's David Kim's job. Unless you're stupid I'm guessing you mixed them up. Thorzain played better than HuK here, thus won. Not much more to say. Good Games.

Well, I did lose some respect for Thorzain.

Why do I watch SC2? To have fun, to enjoy it. Is it fun to watch 1-1-1 destroying protoss over and over? No. I really don't care about who is in charge of balance, but if watching Thorzain TvP is no more fun, then I lose some respect for him. Is he still as good as before? Yes. Do I like him as much as before? No. Plain logic.

Am I a HuK fanboy? To the root. So what?

So your respect for players depends on how entertaining you find them to be?

Interesting.

lol isn't Huk one of the best Protoss in the world against the 1-1-1 too? I'm pretty sure he has said so himself.

i guess i'm just not used to people crowding over SC2 for purely entertainment purposes. it reminds me when i used to be MMA, and then it got popular and a bunch of people weren't watching it for the same reasons as me (competitive venture between two skilled opponents trying to win a competition). like, i don't get why you try to watch a tournament, but you want entertaining builds. why not just watch TLO vods or something? in a tournament, very few people will not do winning builds just because you have a personal problem with that. that's naive and ignorant to think they should, and for you to be bothered by it when it happens.

hmmm, this is annoying. i made a post but it didn't register when i hit the post button, wtf? well anyways. i basically said that i made my original post under the assumption that you are watching a tournament for the same reasons as me, which apparently you aren't. i watch people compete at a high skill level at a hobby i have and try to win. that's why i enjoy tournaments more than people streaming and communicating with viewers, which judging by your preference, you would probably enjoy more.

i think you can satisfy whatever you want however you can but it's naive and ignorant to think that players trying to win a tournament should cater to your personal interest, as well as to be upset that they don't. it's pretty retarded honestly. if you have a problem with people executing builds that are not "entertaining" then you probably shouldn't watch tournaments, people try to deliberately please fans on their streams more often.

Upset? How?

I like player that are providing interesting match. 1-1-1 is not interesting at all and I dislike watching it, therefore, I like player that don't use it that often more that those who do.

It's personnal taste, nothing more. Why should I like THE BEST OF THE BEST? Why can't I just like fun and refreshing players, uh? How is that retarded?

I enjoy MLG a lot and even pay for it each tournament, but I enjoy it EVEN MORE when players that I like are playing and hope that they win even if the opponent is more skilled. That's all...

Unlucky first game and last game's against Virus today man, you had that first game won! It just came down to some unfortunate stuff at the end.

You're still in Code S for next season though! So you have plenty of time to practice man. You're the best player outside of Korea now show us why! Kick some ass Huk!

What he wrote on his twitter after todays games:
Sorry all I have been having some personal stress last few days my mind was bad. I will keep fighting TT

Guess they either broke up or had some issues. God it feels so wrong talking about the private shit of people I don't even know personally.
