I hope you can get some rest huk, you can tell that all the traveling is really waring on you. I dont even know how you can get up in the morning with you basically flying around the world twice in the last month. Even MC said it was just too much when he was doing it. I hope you can get into top form.

He went from making entry level pay (around 30-40k) too making what master doctorate pay (80 to 100K) as it has been rumored. I just have to think that most of those people that are bashing on huk are still teens / live on there parents income and dont understand what it means to have a secure future like huk now. Hell he is now in the top income bracket, he is way more then secure xp I hope you can get some rest huk, you can tell that all the traveling is really waring on you. When he signed with Liquid, he wasn't exactly the "I can destroy everyone" player. He was above average, yeah he won MLG but it was hardly as prestigious then. Honestly I'd be surprised if his original contract was even $10,000 in salary, and I doubt EG is paying more than $60,000 to get him. They only have to beat out what Liquid can afford, and I don't see Liquid being able to even come close to $60,000. Of course, I know very little, but Liquid isn't exactly a massive moneymaker, and just recently got sponsored within the last year by a small company TLAF. If anything all the money would have gone to players like Ret and Nony, not HuK.

Before that we don't know anyone's salary, but we can only speculate. Now lets say since its 6figures that EG was paying Huk 100k. TL said Huk was willing to stay for considerably less than EG. from there we can only assume. Maybe his original salary was 20-30k, and they were willing to pay 50-60k for him to stay? Like I said this is all speculation since we have no concrete numbers and only 6figures.

What I'm saying is that I can't imagine his original salary being 20k-30k, nor can I imagine having 60k to spend on a single player. I very well could be wrong, and I don't want to derail too much since I'm in the fanclub (not bashing btw, I <3 you HuK). I just can't see Liquid originally signing HuK for a 30k salary. He was a brand new player with not too much behind him except being notorious for 4gating, they have to fly him out to events at the cost of like $5k a pop, JUST got sponsored shortly before this by a virtually completely unknown company before that... you realize Liquid didn't even have a sponsored team a year and a half ago? If HuK was getting 30k to sign Liquid, then we must assume that the BW gods Tyler/Ret would have signed at like 50-60k each. And TLO seemed far more desirable than HuK as well, so assuming equal salaries he would have gotten 30k too. How much money did TLAF really invest to pay for $50,000+ in travel expenses, all these players, part of the oGs house... I cannot fathom HuK being signed at a wage that is 20k, which is far more than a minimum wage worker gets, plus room/board, travel expenses paid, etc. Also who did you hear that EG bought HuK for $100k+ from? Another person that heard it from another person on someone speculating in the thread..? If ESPORTS has really taken off to the point where players that have little background are being signed at $30,000, given room + board, and $10,000+ in travel expenses, then I'm totally stoked. I just see numbers being thrown around so easily. Someone who just graduated from 4-year uni is expected to make what, $40-45k? This economy sucks, people can't simply throw around money so frivilously... it's not as if TLAF is some multibillion dollar company.

This economy sucks, people can't simply throw around money so frivilously... it's not as if TLAF is some multibillion dollar company. I am just just speculating since most players are very secretive about what they make and teams are very tight lipped on what they pay there players. I just threw 30 - 40 K out there as that seems to be a number that most seem to think is the worth of a top foreign pro. As for the 100k people seem to being getting throwing around for huk, idra who widely seen as being the highest paid foreign pro is speculated to have a very lucrative contract with EG, somewhere in the 80+ K range. People are just assuming that they offered huk a similar contract to idra.
