EG sniping amazing players with money because they cant manage to help their old ones progress. HuK is still the same its not like any one would give up a great money offer when it comes to work so we cant blame him for that.

Still though EG is EG they have done this a lot in the past and will keep doing it when its possible. I love the EG players but the team just cares about pefformence and when they cant get it off their own players they aquire new ones. I just hope they dont ignore great players like demuslim incontrol and machine now that they have star players in every race.

I like this. I'm a fan of EG, I do think HuK will miss his OGS-TL practice partners, but EG has no end of ambition, and they've got funds and stability like woah.

Edit: next announcement has to be a korean based coach. They will surely need a coach.

dude, EG bought a Team house in Arizona and are practising 8 h a day. They do care about their players. And Idra/Puma/Huk will train in Korea. What do you want more?
and about the "sniping" part: imo this will help esport the most to really grow

I still love and support Huk simply because i loved his commitment to getting better and not the team he was in - sure i like TL also but that was not the reason i joined up his fanclub in the first place.

People ripping on Huk need to step back and think for a moment. Consider the player objectively: clearly this is a guy who is passionate about e-sports, who is hard-working, has personality, truly loves what he is doing and is proud of it. Now imagine how hard it is for someone to be a professional gamer. Intense 10+ workdays, constantly thinking of how to improve in the off time, all for tournament results that are volatile best of threes that may just as well swing in favor of less dedicated opponents.

I don't know what Huk's salary was on Liquid, nor his new salary on EG, but if they describe it as "not just significant, but life changing", then it would be stupid for Huk not to at least seriously consider if not outright join EG. The people who resent him for 'selling out' should consider how hard it is to simply make ends meet as a progamer. Most of them are poor, and have dayjobs and have to get paid in other ways. I consider his signing a success, and gauging from the heartfelt and geniune letter on the frontpage, there is no reason not to remain a fan (or even become a fan, seeing as he's obviously a great guy). It's like hating Wiz Khalifa for finally signing onto a label instead of releasing mixtapes for the rest of his life. How can you hate someone for coming closer or even achieving their dream; doing what they love and not having to worry about things such as money (which he still probably has to worry about anyway).

I just can't..... supporting this ever since liquid, always reading his tweets with the OGS guys, stories of him just hanging with jinro. The OGS house seemed like a home to him, Huk always reminded me of Jinro, he didn't care as much about money he was just about training with the best and competing with the best. Even if he lose and dropped to code A he'd just be happy to be playing the best of the best. Its just to sad, i guess thats why I'll be a jinro fan for life.

I just cant imagine leaving everything behind like huk did, all those friends... just i cant be your fan anymore huk it'd be to sad and depressing bring to many bad memories now. Loyalty has always been the most important value to me so maybe thats why am like this.

Huk good luck with the future i truly wish you the best, just am sorry i can no longer be your fan, i can no longer stay up to the late hours of the night screaming and cheering for you, its better i just forget about you, am sure you'd understand.

I love how people seem to think they wouldn't have done the exact same thing. The way Nazgul put it it would seem we are talking about a substansial amount of money. Very very few people in this world says no when someone offers you a gigantic raise and in return you move to another location in the same city you already lived in and wear a different shirt at events. Give me a break, almost everyone who bitch in this thread would have done exactly the same thing. Money isn't everything. But it is a huge part of anyones life, like it or not.
