close positions spawn on shattered Huk DT expand 1st DT dies a horrible death because of a spore at the front. big roach push from nestea. huk holds with cannons and good FF. huk moves out with blink stalkers but is pushed back at the zerg nat Nestea attacks again with roaches and overruns huk. game over. | ||

Huk did a great job holding Polt's counter-attack with storm, blink and chargelots, but was eventually overpowered and was down a base. I felt like this game was really close -- Huk might have gone on to win if he hadn't lost so much of his main army after the initial aggression failed. In game 2 on XNC Huk did a well executed DT expand, but Polt held at his walled off ramp until a raven popped. Huk was then unable to defend Polt's strong 1base MMM push, which included a banshee and raven. Somewhat of a build order loss. I'm no expert but it seems to me that Huk's control faltered a bit yesterday, which may have cost him game 1. Huk's play was really beautiful and stylish yesterday -- it's so fun to see him play at the GSL <3 <3 <3 Liquid`Huk fighting~~ | ||
