GanZI smashed FD today. GanZI is one of the very few terrans I actually admire. Still I cheered for Fruitdealer, but he was not able to slay that SlayerS-terran.

I hope that Fruit feels well at StarTale. Imagine him training and sharing tips with July makes me fuzzy and warm inside.

I think Fruitdealer played very well. Relentless marine pressure seems to be what Terrans do to Zerg these days to beat them. And with good reason. I enjoyed the games nonetheless, and I think FruitDealer is on a rise again, even if he is "already" out of this.

The games reminded me a bit of Top vs Nestea.

Well, Sase was not able to smack Fruitdealer out of Code-A. He tried, but Fruitdealer is too good.

FD looked pretty good today. Especially in the first game he was doing things a lot of things that i really liked. They didn't mention it but he was using his overseer to contaminate that robo as often as he could.

Also Creeping the 3rd base vs Terran and Toss is something Zergs should be doing more of. Not to mention constant scouting of Sase base.

That is right. I watched the games with sound disabled, so I don't know about the commentary.

As I watched Fruitdealer's play, I saw the powerful zerg again which abuses his race to the max. He did not pull off a gimmick, instead he played smart and with awareness. He played like Fruitdealer.

When Fruitdealer doesn't do stupid cheeses and play patiently he's actually decent.

But yeah people doubting FD against Sase are kind of delusional, FD sucks by Champion / Code S standards but foreigners suck even more. When foreign SC2 fans talk shit on weaker GSL players such as Hongun or TheBest don't realize that they're Masters / GM in the KR server and can wipe the floor with foreigners most of the time.

Artosis saying "Rain used to be a cheeser but he's improve a lot, how is he so good now?" after Rain owning in MLG kind of made me lol. Foreigners aren't worth cheesing against compared to let's say, Nestea.

You put Koreans on a pedestal that is really way too high. It is disgusting, seriously. I'm not going to start an argument, but you are way too delusional to how small the skill gap really is.

It's been a while since i watched the FD tribute video. I still get teary-eyed when i see it. I don't think i will every be as emotional about Starcraft/zerg as i was back then and every time i watch this video.

Fruitdealer still continues to show flashes of his previously brilliant play, even though he has fallen from grace I still always cheer for him, hoping one day he will make it back to the top.

To me he is the SaviOr of SC2, without the match fixing scandal of course. In his time he showed brilliance and domination in a way that was unheard of for the underdog race. But yet, he fell as swiftly as he rose. I feel it is just his passion isnt there, you could see the emotion in his wins in GSL S1, after that not so much, however I feel like I am starting to see it in him again and have hopes he will pull through.
