In BW he was in Korea training his ass off probably 12 hours a day. It has nothing to do with sc2. Nestea is a champion because he has the mindset of a champion and says himself "nobody works harder than me". It is something IdrA doesn't currently have. He lacks practice with world class players. He wasn't King of the Beta for nothing. He rolled through people because he was practicing his ass off on the Korean Ladder, imagine if he was practicing his ass off in a Korean team like oGs. He also lacks the mindset of a champion, it doesn't matter what sport your playing, if you don't think you can win, chances are you won't.
The simple fact is to be the best you have to make a lot of sacrifices, I'm sure IdrA is extremely happy with his life now compared to when he was holed up in Korea, I hope one day he returns and trains in one of their teams, that is when we will see the IdrA that we KNEW would come out of almost every foreigner tournament with the win.
Please don't take this as a Diss, I'm just an extremely concerned and disappointed fan.
I still think regardless that he is more than capable of taking this NA Blizzcon Qualifier down though.

i think the hardest part of being his fan sometimes is the "he needs to give up his life (again) and go to korea and play nonstop with the best and be the best again and give up everything he likes so he can have top bragging rights on an online video game" vs understanding that he's still a human being and con obviously understand why he's not in a hurry to do that again.

i agree.
but reson for his lacking of practice and motivation is his race and also is this game. he said that at about 10x at state of the game alone! he is used to dominate ppl who are worse then him! have worse understandings of the game / less refined mechanics / do a lot of mistakes / lack in terms multitasking and execution.
yet he gets raped by ppl who apply to ALL of the above. he had hopes that blizzard would fix it, HE ALWAYS DID! everytime he was asked he was sure they MUST do something about it and that they absolutely WILL but the buff never came (and no, fungal isnt fixing the other 5000 problems zerg has vs T and P!)
OF COURSE he would get frustrated dont you think?
hopefully HOTS will be good for zerg, otherwise he will switch races. he has to

You hit the nail on the head. The reason I'm a fan of Idra is because he always wins except for when he loses. Whereas other people always lose to Idra except for the times they win. Which other player besides Idra can inspire that sort of description? lmao that's the funniest thing i've heard in a long time. Well i'm also fan of HuK "everytime he wins except when he loses" xD Close, but Huk isn't Idra, so he always loses except when he wins.

lol he almost lost becuz he was using zerglings instead of roaches. wat?
unit comps: z- broodlord infestor zergling (few corrupters)
p- stalker collossus (later a few archons)
if he would have made roaches instead of zerglings he would have crushed all the battles, especially with reinforcements but zerglings just got toasted (he didnt even god missle attack although he was using tons of infested terrans [maybe just to tank?])
roach -> infestor -> ultralisk would have been like 500 times better! but mass zelot + archons counter this. maybe thats why he doesnt even try to go that comp ?

Poor English skills aside, do you honestly believe all of that illogical drivel you just wrote? If you want to defend idra's performance, fine, but please try to make a real argument. The "zerg is weak" argument has been proven wrong many times over. At some point we all need to grow up and take responsibility for our own actions.

weird game 2, he had 1500m 1000g banked while fighting in early midgame. maybe he should have teched to roaches after he had enough infestors out ?

+ Show Spoiler +IdrA beats TT1 2-0. In the first game he outmacroed TT1 and won with a huge broodlord infestor force. In the second game he very surprisingly went Destiny's ling/infestor style and got a base up on TT1 while continually crushing TT1's pushes.
