FOR EXAMPLE: Almost NO protosses will use forcefields to block ramps when they do a timing attack in order to prevent the zerg's army from reinforcing from one base. Ive lost almost every game that someone just dropped 2 or 3 forcefields in a row on my ramp to destroy the chance of me holding my natural.

It doesn't matter what he says everyone here will agree with it no matter what. I hope the debate continues though because I like hearing both opinions, and even though Idra was very biased (I agree with InControl here), he was right on many points.

I always enjoy watching Naniwa and White-Ra, because they do what these guys are talking about (using a more macro-orientated, less 10 minute aggresive style) in the recent games I've seen. But that doesn't mean they do it all the time, they just try it when it makes more "sense", instead of relying on it for a bo3 clutch move. Just at DH Summer with Huk and Moon, Huk won with a 4gate, DT rush, and defended a 6pool. That's not exactly "high-calibur" play and it's been talked to death back when it was relevant, but I think that it's an interesting piece of evidence to bring up now.

I've always felt Idra was probably the most outspoken and most intelligent/smartest of all progamers. He isn't the whiny kid or disrespective asshole as the community wants people to believe. He has strong arguments, he knows what he's talking about, and he is rarely wrong. It's just that sometimes, he uses strong words, and that draws attention (along with the trolls that are abundant in internet)
