Was interesting play though, game 3 he over expected the same play as game 2 after he scouted the block. Meh he still not out but least he didnt leave game 3 straight away, maybe he will show us comeback king idra? Naama next on ICC Cup TV stream.

Either way surprising result, bad play by idra's standards

No. He had very good baneling management in the beginning of game 1. Although he missed the chance to end the game when is ling bling army was extremely close to the terran army with tanks unsieged at the upper xelnaga tower. You don't need that many banelings if you have good positiong as banelings are almost never cost effective on their own. Of course he had too few though after his baneling nest was destroyed. Last game he just made the same mistake he has made against thorzain and makes on ladder a million times. He ist tensed and just a moves his army unnecessarrily in a well placed siege line. Don't do that, idra.

Nice to see him trying to do a comeback but he was way behind. Hope he doesn't give up. Don't ask for bans, please.

In the third game for example I think he usually would leave the game after his natural got eliminated and the terran was on the ramp into his main (and shelling on his tech buildings). But this time he tried to rebuild the tech he thought he needed to still pull of a win and tried. Edit: @cakee, I don't think what you wrote there was nice. It is quite unfriendly.

Don't do that, idra. yea, game 1 was fine(that happens when two blings kill like 15 marines.)game two, the banshees just did too much economical damage and Merz pushed at the perfect time right as IdrA's third base finished construction( a small wave of drones also being made for it) that was just bad luck for IdrA. but game three especially, he had 7-9 mutas up, with Merz having 32 marines, IdrA's baneling status at 9 and half minutes into the game? nest is half built. let alone hook upgrade. it seems like he's trying to forsake banelings for trying to get infestors/brood lords up asap. but as long as your ahead(and IdrA was) why rush? Merz showed really good decison making(when to push to win) but IdrA just made poor choices, however huge props for staying in g3 as long as he did. the obvious A-move into the seige line ended his game though, the lings choked the banelings so they couldnt reach their targets so the tanks rolled them.

as much as we might not like having to wait, idra is going to be coming off a nice break and against an exhausted naama.
