Why they're playing on the US server, though, I dunno. I'd assume that its less likely a korean can scout him out? When there's $87,000 on the line, I highly doubt they would skimp on $60 to get a US account or be lazy about scouting him. But I guess it's good logic. OGs have an account for the NA server anyway, they use it for tournaments and showmatches.

Small question its probably obvious but when did Idra suddenly become referred to as grack? And what caused this?

In a ladder game, SlayerSBoxeR was playing IdrA and began the game by mistakenly calling him Grack instead of Greg. IdrA corrected this mistake, but the Grack moniker stuck because The Emperor bestowed it of course.

Idra's match starting right now!
Grack fighting!

Don't know if it's an EU thing but no one opens ling/baneling because it gets hard countered by roach/baneling, not to mention ling/baneling doesn't go in to the midgame as well as a pure roach opening, leaving you with ling/bling all-in or fast muta tech... I would expect IdrA to open roach, the more solid opening.
This is regarding the GSL of course.

this day is worse than September 11th

Somewhat expected after his tweet yesterday "Anyone know ZvZ?" ZvZ is Idra's worst matchup which is why he had much rather faced MVP. Nonetheless, he's getting there. Top16 isn't so bad. It's a step further from last season. Let's hope things go better at GSL3 and chances are now that you will most likely see him at MLG Dallas.

Yeah, that's really the thing. I'm sad he isnt going to be the GSL 2 champion but i'm glad ill get to see him at dallas and whatever other events he ends up at now because he wont be committed to the GSL.

ZvZ is Idra's worst match-up but this is probably true for all zerg players at the moment anyway. The problem was that because they have all played less zvz than anything else, all-in strategies are much more efficient. Zenio acknowledged this as well.
It's also safe to say that Spunky and co. managed to catch Idra unprepared again, just like in GSL1. The strategy in game 1 was brilliant and playing on Idra's weaknesses. Even though he would have been able to stop the first attack by protecting his ramp efficiently, he was obviously having a hard time to figure out Zenio's next move.
Let's hope he manages to get over the defeat quickly and prepare for Dallas.

Great and valid points here.
IMO ZvZ is a match-up where even the greatest Zerg players can lose to 'weaker' Zerg player. Not saying that Zenio was weaker or anything, but its hard match-up. Thats all.
Anyway, IdrA did well and i think IdrA would've gone far this season if there wouldn't be zergs against or at least more time to prepare and practice. But thats how the tournament rolls, no need to IF there.
better luck next season, with practicing etc. :-)

IdrA's Achilles heel

I feel bad, but...
+ Show Spoiler +I get to see IdrA at Dallas.
It is worse for IdrA, but him losing or winning would be of equal value to me.

So both IdrA and TLO at Dallas, sounds pretty good to me + Show Spoiler +despite his loss

You might want to spoiler that first part.

I am disappointed and sad about IdrA in GSL2. I think Greg has the potential to take out the GSL title but in my view this will not happen if:
IdrA stays in EG- I think this is one of the most disadvantage thing for him as he needs the support from higher caliber teams like oGs/TL, in his lost last games (GSL1 and 2), the only thing he lost to was the strats and nothing else, where Zenio (and Loze) has the whole oGs (Prime) helping him but where as IdrA has to turn to tweeter for help ffs, and this make me sad. im sorry to put down EG but tbh, what else are you providing to IdrA that is supportive and effective? if you can't come up with an answer than don't you think is a waste of time(his) and perhaps money(yours)...?
The perceived reflection of IdrA in the Korean community change- There seems to be a general negative reflection of Greg Field within the progaming community within Korea, that is cause of the language(communication) barrier of each of the foreigners, in fact, every progamer has(and should) its own attitude and thats what makes it fun and interesting and IdrA is just one of them. This is where oGs/TL can help tremendously in all of the short comings above.
Anyways Greg im your biggest fan and the reason i Zergs <3 ~! Best of Luck!

The twitter thing was a joke.
