Pretty insulting to geoff and tyler considering geoff is on the same team rofl. Go Idra. Geoff is more of a community person now. I actually like that some pros are going into casting. It gives a lot better cast quality. Tyler is slumping atm. idk too much about him practicing, but from what i hear, he is a bit lazy on practicing. It isn't that these guys are bad, but I would safely say that Korean/European protoss are better. kiwikaki, man... i dont watch much of kiwi, but from what I've seen, he needs a few more significant wins/placements under his belt to be considered a big name. he is close, but he needs to prove that he isn't just in a good streak. ......what Kiwikaki is like alot of NA players, regarded as good in NA and regarded as subpar in EU, which I think he is to be honest. What has he actually accomplished? Runner up in three major tournaments is pretty impressive... This. Kiwikaki is one of the best foreigner protoss', there is no doubt about it. Idra was just being ignorant.
Or he was just being Idra. Have you looked at the quotes in the OP?

if IdrA beats MC during the first stage match...then i'm going to go ahead and say hes going to take the tournament, but if he does'nt and puts on a good show, then he will still do really good. If all goes to worse and just gets dominated, I think it maybe hard for him to recover, we'll see though. If IdrA took this tournament...I would shed tears, o so many joyous tears

I don't think that Idra has been preparing for specific opponents that much. There are two types of tournaments - leagues that take weeks and even months, in which you have enough time to prepare for your next opponent, and the much more intense ones such as MLG, which take place in just a few days. Focusing too much on just one player, even someone like Bomber, is not a wise decision, as he is likely to face other Protoss players later in the tournament. So surely he is keeping his special tactics for some bigger games, like in the second set against Huk at MLG:Dallas.

IdrA take it all please! Clear dat MLG like a boss
|
GL at MLG, i know youre the best.
|
IdrA, go boss some nerds around and steal their MLG points. You know you want to.
|
i will not wish luck to idra, because he doesn't need any luck to win. Hope it works out for you at MLG:D

See, this is one of the reasons why IdrA will never change.

IdrA controls the internet.

Idra invented the internet.

IdrA must have a alt ladder account
His history says he has only played 3 games in the last 2 full days, and they were custom maps like Phantom Mode
Even if he does practice less, I'm still sure he at least practices daily a few hours.
|
he doesnt practice in US ladder, he does in europe ladder

True - but then again one of the reasons he is so popular is because he is what he is, instead of trying to change to accomodate a broader taste. Sure, he does some adjustments to his public image as time goes by but they are just a part of a natural process.
