the way it was before the patch was if there were no hotkeys showing it meant the player doesn't use hotkeys.
so if you were someone that didn't know about this feature you would never do step 2 of your thought process

MonsieurGrimm might seem like a "dick" like you guys are saying, but he was right and in my opinion isn't jerk at all. I mean, someone asking a stupid question isn't the issue, the issue is someone asking a stupid question WITHOUT even trying to find the answer by himself (which was very obvious, as stated before). If you're not using control groups, there's still an empty panel for Group 1 - unless you have them hidden. This is before and after the patch.

yeh... to be fair, CatZ didn't realise first that he was playing toss... so when he found out he tried to inbase-hatch him (but idra noticed) and muta-rush (which idra also scouted)... afterwards idra 5 or 6 gated him
