it was probably completely random, put a ton of pros names in a hat and drew them out
HoTS will not be 100% balanced when it hits shelves, Blizz is not planning to spend the time to get it 100% balanced
all blizz wants to remove is the stuff thats blatantly OP like 5 rax reaper, proxy reaper, speed VRs, one supply roachs e.t.c then theyll release it
you dont need the best of the best to do that

Blizzard don`t want to give the first keys to someone who does not change his behaviour and will most likely blame the game again to the whole community. Is that really what a company want for their first days of beta? They want feedback, not childish complains.

The latest ITG IdrA mentions he'd stream only exclusively HotS unless he needed to play WoL for an important tournament as HotS will be the most viewer centric.
I actually think it's quite ridiculous IdrA hasn't received a beta key yet, he's super intelligent both in general and when it comes to SC2 and he has a ridiculously huge player base which would mean he would attract a lot of people to the new game.

Given the amount of crap he gives blizzard it isn't really surprising he didn't get a key. Be realistic guys they don't owe him anything, why would they give him a key when he constantly discredits them and insults them in public?
