I'd like Greg to play dota 2 at a competitive level. His multi-tasking is ridiculously good and his map awareness amazing, while his mechanics are great, too. He'd make a really really great invoker or rubick. Maybe I'm saying this because I currently find Dota 2 to be much more exciting and fun than sc2, I mean, did anyone who watched Na'Vi vs LGD games 2 and 3 not get goosebumps at least once? He also seems to like the game so that's a big bonus.
Also, the alchemist comment made my day. If I could rate that post I'd give it a 10

is dota like a harder LoL?

Having played dota for a couple of years, and then playing LoL and dota2, I feel it's safe to say this is not fact. LoL is easier to get into... You can't deny, jungling is way easier.... But at the semi-professional level and above both require a lot, and (in my strong opinion) they require less (although different) skill than sc2.
I might even say that in a year or so LoL will become the deeper game simply because it's so much bigger, and it draws bigger prizepools.
I'd like IdrA to keep playing sc2 though, wouldn't follow him in a different game.

please don't get into dota 2, any chance it may affect his dedication to sc2 is nono (sorry to all dota 2 fans)

I'd just like to point out that you're comparing skills in games that requires team coordination to a game that is played 1v1 (at the larger competitions), I believe you can't compare both just for that single fact, UNLESS you compare mechanics only, than sc2 is def harder (having played the 3)

I sincerely hope that IdrA will indulge in some DOTA 2 streaming on his off days. It would be glorious to see him BM his team mates, and I'd dare say that he'd probably even look excited when he made a big play.

how much hype would it get if IdrA started playing Dota 2? O.o
but damn sexy greggors being sexy.

idra said he doesnt like games and/or gaming, and he never played something beside starcraft. i would be surprised if he would start dota (even casually). im fine with idra in starcraft, there he can show us his skills and i love watching him (and its always wrecking my nerves)
does anyone know when his next event is?

He might go for Dreamhack Valencia (September) and/or Dreamhack Bucharest (October). These are the next Premier Tournements.

I WILL JOIN YOU ON THIS GLORIOUS MISSION!
Also IdrA has come out and said multiple times "I am not a gamer". He has stated that he never played anything except for BW and now all he plays is SC2. So no he is not a gamer he is a competitor and this pursuit fits his skill set.

Oh sure, Idra would make a great Dota player. We all know how good he is at playing nicely with others.
|
Well, dota players aren't exactly known for being nice to each other, on the same team or otherwise. I think he'd fit right in. But yeah, too much dota talk and not enough talk about how awesome he looked in that shirt. I can't even believe how much he's changed since his CJ Entus days.

quickly, i need to listen to music, tell me the best song u ever heard on idras stream (and are able to remember :D )
