he's been saying that for a while now. artosis even joked that when MKP retires idra will go "finally, see i told you he was bad". :p I think Idra's point is that MKP gets his wins from his "strange" playstyle which makes it hard to play against him. gimmicky? maybe. but his mechanics are sound (especially his micro, holy shit was i blown away by it) | ||

We've seen that be exploited by that Zerg (the name evades me) that beat MKP in an online tourney by 6pooling him twice in a row. Also, DRG seems to have somewhat "figured out" MKP's playstyle from their most recent games - he seemed to be able to predict MKP very well. Of course there are vulnerabilities in his play and he does play greedy then other players but it doesn't mean he wins only because he plays greedy. His macro and micro are world class, he has excellent crisis management(MKP is a master of comebacks and base trades). It's just dumb to call a player who has win rates of over 60% in all of his MU gimmicky. Gimmicky players don't show the consistency that MKP has managed to show for over 2 years. | ||
