Everyone else, as of recently sympathetic concerning his 2012 slump 1. Love Naniwa because you're Swedish or whatever protoss something. 2. Everyone else. I think it's fine, a lot of people like to say Idra and Naniwa are practically the same and give the comparison like on this page, showing them how they're wrong isn't so bad. I agree with #1 on your IdrA list even though lots of people would not. however, do you think that Naniwa hasn't shown good play objectively? I think he has, and therefore #1 for Nani is not fair. I agree that he is socially inept and has a very selfish and disregarding attitude that makes him easy to dislike. but 1. Love Naniwa because you're Swedish or whatever protoss something. is clearly not objective statement, 1. Love Naniwa because you're Swedish, protoss, or just care about level of play. is more appropriate, would you disagree? feel free to actually respond to my points and not just the fact that im not hating naniwa.

Yeah I really like Naniwa for his play and his work ethic, but as a person he is actually just not nice. He works super hard and has good results, so he definitely deserves his wins, but on the other hand he is also extremely immature.

Sorry, didn't mean to make it seem like Naniwa isn't talented. He's obviously talented at SC2 but for the idea of what I was talking about, the "why" didn't matter. I could say 1. Love Idra because you're American, zerg, whatever. and 1. Love Naniwa because he's the most recent GSL foreigner success. Doesn't matter in the long run when talking about the complexity of IdraxNaniwa comparison.

We want every IdrA fan to create a little something for IdrA. It could be anything. It could be fanart (skill is not a factor), a supportive letter, a gift, ect. What you make is not an issue, all that matters is that you made it. Method: Well first you need to make something. Be sure to put your heart and soul into this. But, how are you going to get it to me?
Also, we have a skype chat group going on for this project, so if you want to join in, add me on skype (wholegrn), and I'll add you to the group. Nothing important is being discussed there, but it is useful for quick questions. And why not? We might use it more as we discuss what to do with the donations too. Deadlines: Deadlines won't be super strict, but make it easier for me and get your stuff in on time. If you miss the deadline, there is not guarantee that your stuff will get to IdrA.
UPDATE: We got some potentially good news that is pushing back this deadline...except we aren't sure when the "new deadline" is. It could be in 3 days, or it could be much longer. So since we're pass the deadlines, there is no guarantee that your letter will be sent, but just know to write it ASAP. Closing Words: All I have to say is that I'm really impressed at all of the support that you guys are giving this project. If this succeeds, it will prove that we're not just a fanclub, we're something much bigger. Tell your friends who have any shed of respect for IdrA to help contribute. Even simple letters of encouragement will help. But most importantly, remember that this is for IdrA. He has been preforming bad recently. He needs this. He needs to know that we still support him 100%. We may discuss his flaws and be critical of him, but at the end of the day, we look up to him. If you have any questions, email, PM, or message me on skype (wholegrn). May 24th Have we voted on the gift for IdrA yet <3

I don't want to post it in the fanclub because even though idra probably knows that we're getting a gift, I'd still want to keep the surprise of what we're getting him. If you want to know or contribute to ideas, PM me or add me on skype (wholegrn) and I'll add you to our chat group we made on skype.

I do not like Naniwa at all, but in this case, he is right. IdrA fans have no right to make snide comments in his fan club and vise versa. On May 25 2012 09:53 IamBach wrote: Team Idra or Team Naniwa? Why do I have to chose? Well, in many ways they are similar. Both: - are very talented at SC2 (I'm speaking generally, and not based on recent results only) - speak exactly what is on their mind - can be a little BM in game and have shown a poor attitude towards meaningless games in the past From this information, making a decision sure would be hard. Best we look into the differences... IdrA - A generally nice guy who does so much for the community (e.g. streaming w/ commentary, autograph signings and photo ops with fans at events, community talk shows, and numerous interviews) Naniwa - A general sociopath who is entirely apathetic toward anything that is not the physical game and his own results I've been an IdrA fan from the start, but for anyone who feels the need to choose, I think it's pretty straight forward.

Seriously dissing NesTea then saying oh i didnt mean it like that, shows your character of being pathetic and shameful. His just so awkward like his "celebrations & intros" seriously the dirt off the shoulders thing at the GSL, did it make anybody else cringe and with the thumbs down at MLG? I cant be the only one here that thinks this, everytime i see him in a tournament i always ROOT against him just because i dont like him as a person or a player. Why i like IdrA because his straight forward and isnt scared to say what he wants to say. I'm actually bored with the no personality robots that roam the majority of starcraft. So when naniwa thumbs someone down, and shows a bit of himself, I cheer =)
