The thing is he didn't have many lings or bane tech. If Biggs decides to attack with his remaining lings + make banes Idra essentially auto loses. Idra being Idra assumes his opponent is going to make the best decision and just leaves, even though if Biggs decided not to attack or he just attacked without making many banes Idra probably would of been in a good position. Edit: Just want to make it clear I definitely think he should of stayed in that game to at least see what Biggs was going to do. | ||

If Biggs decided to get aggressive he wasn't going to hold it. Biggs had a fairly large amount of lings leftover and Idra just lost his + made a round of drones shortly before so he didn't even have more lings coming. Biggs would of had ~10 more lings than Idra and banes | ||

I can clarify that the games were played on EU. http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/1987374/1/EGIdrA/matches I am pretty confused how they make the decision who gets what home server advantage. Puma and JYP almost exclusively play their games on the US server so I thought it was simply always on the US server. With the power of hindsight it would've been a lot better for EG to have Machine play cross server and let Idra play the ZvZ lag free. | ||
