Well that mostly depends on the timing and nature of the eSTRO deal. If they intend to give me a legit shot at becoming a progamer, giving me enough time to settle in and really practice, then i will try to set back enrolling in college a year and give progaming a shot. However if they just want me for a publicity stunt I wont interrupt school for it, I might just go over the summer or something. I think my parents will be supportive as long as I can work out an acceptable arrangement with my school. on a scholarship idra has commented multiple times on his future plans and stuff in interviews, not going to find them, and mentioned he has/had a scholarship

he also has a top salary in starcraft, probably top 5 in 2011, and somewhere near the top now (if eg can payed what huk called a top 3 salary while being modest, then idra probably has a big salary)
also while not a big factor recently he has probably like 40k dollars, im not going through all his GSL and MLG placings but he won enough torunys+high placings in good tournys for it to stack up. also got 2nd at IEM wc won IEM won MLG won Asus etc
So in ~1-2 years he made tons of money, probably better then a scholarship in the immediate future.

Lots of schools offer scholarships for the first year in order to entice people to enroll. Once you enroll, you're very likely to stay enrolled and keep giving money to the school. In the past, it's supposed to be a really prestigious thing but NOWADAYS, it doesn't mean that much. It doesn't mean that Idra isn't smart or doesn't deserve it, because he obviously is smart. But you really can't say that it's something that's unique only to Idra.
