He's been incredibly disappointing for a while now.

It's not like he's not practicing, oddly enough, it seems that his stay in Korea has decreased his skill. I hope I'm wrong but Idra appears so bad.
Last time he won something was a couple months ago.
There's no doubt right now he's losing a ton there is no doubt the beginning of 2012 is absolutely horrible for him atm but he'll strike back hopefully.

i mean it just cheese after cheese after cheese, how can you even measure these games as ANY indication of actual skill?

Painful to watch. Don't care if IdrA loses, just wanted to see some real games.
Only thing more painful than the games is the thread for the showmatch.

not cheese

I've been defending IdrA for a while but its pretty disappointing when it seems like he's not even really trying. His play has been almost embarrassing lately. The last game he won was against Lucky forever ago... I remember when IdrA's ZvT was so beastly. -_____-

Well it's kind of showing that as long as you cheese idra he wont get the opportunity to show skill

You don't worry about it.

Edit: 11-11 -> doublereactor hellion -> 6pool -> 6pool. Wheee!

My Prediction:
1. IdrA fails to get out of code B for the next 2 GSL seasons 2. Wins 1 or 2 show-matches against a foreigner. 3. Loses all show-matches against Koreans (assuming he's invited to more) 4. Leaves Korea after poor results. Goes back to the US for foreigner tournaments again, but then fails to make it to the finals consistently. 5. Makes a long winded speech about how bad this game is and how the world is unfair. 6. Quits for good. 7. Tries to play professional poker, repeat steps 4-6 (ignoring the leaving Korea part).
Could be wrong, but I think it's the safest bet.

I think people are overreacting. I think IdrA will come back in force and if you watch his stream his play is so BEAUTIFUL and solid. Also, the last time he won something was only 3 months ago. IdrA doesn't have a great start to 2012, but whatever, he is a great player.

not even funny, why did he accept to play a showmatch to play like that ?
|
2 6pools in a row... awesome. At least pull drones, god damn.
|
This is going to be another short game Sigh.

take me off the fanclub please such a disgrace, wow

disgusting showing. think of this as my resignation as an idra fan.

If idra keeps up these horrid results and attitude in game he will be droped by EG. They know even if he has a lot of fans keeping a player that won't win anything big and has a horrible attitude in games. They will at the minimum reduce his salary significantly. He can't live forever with the money he has currently.
