I actually would say IdrA lost his last game because Lucky played quite stupid, Lucky was getting +2 +1 upgrades for his roaches but he moved out like 30 seconds before they finished. If he had waited for his upgrades to finish for his timing attack, IdrA would have been able to hold it off with his hydras...

-I dont know if Lucky scouted what was going on at IdrAs base and reacted properly but it was quite strange time to attack.

I didn't see the matches but I'm sad he had to play 2 ZvZ's.

where's the stupidity in that? he moved out before hand so the upgrades would kick in by the time the battle begins. i actually would say that thinking someone lost because the opponent played stupidly is quite stupid.

i expected idra to lose, though i really really hoped he would win and advanced to the next stage. i'm waiting for the day when he'll finally be able to give out 100% of his abilities in every match, every set and any map.

Losing against Lucky is kinda silly actually.

I just wanted to see his zvt against mvp so badly. Fuck zvz.

I closed GOM right after he lost that 3rd game lol, was so pissed.
Fuck zvz indeed

Lucky won because he played worse? I thought we had gotten over that by now. >.<

ZvZ is a hard match-up and sometimes it's hard to predict the results of your actions, but who are we to say that Lucky did not know he had a timing there?

By the way, there's a lot of precedent for foreigners to go to Korea and lose the first time around. I personally think it's because playing in a team house there's suddenly an awful lot of things you have to improve about your play, which destabilizes a lot of things. Maybe Code S just came too soon for Idra. He'll have another chance in Code A in a week, against a bit weaker competition than Nestea/MVP. And Idra didn't even play that awful, it was just a few minor mistakes.

So give him another month and things might go better.

LOL, that's why it sounded so familiar :p! Should've used quote tags, it just sounded so arrogant (not coming from a mod, or someone as whole or xfftc who post a crapton on here) I had to respond.

the bright side is that now when all foreigners are doing terrible (i guess?) it's easy for idrA to become clearly the best foreigner

I presume you didn't see Lucky's ZvT against MVP. It was some of the most unique and intense ZvT's situations since Blizzard Cup final. Lucky is a monster

o its never because the koreans are just plain better. Even though they dominated last year and this year seems like very few foreigners can still touch em and people still blaming on luck.. i mean common koreans cant be always that lucky even if its zvz.. cant be a coincidence that a korean will have luck on their side on their builds. I do agree zvz seems unpredictable, but the results are not even near 50/50 when compared from a korean to a non-korean.. so maybe it means there is some skill gap (even though it is small, its huge for a SC2 mechanics compared to bw) the koreans are proven better.. idra needs more training i guess.. or needs to be more lucky

At Lucky series he was unluky

But on Nestea series it was clearly bad desision and lack of micro. Bad micro at first game with bane explosions and
CLEARLY bad desision on FE in a zvz game after a cheese on first game.

When the battle was over Luckys upgrades still were not finished is what I ment.
He engaged and fought with upgrades about 90% done, I dont say he won because he played stupid, but no one can deny it was quite strange time to attack.
