Not that TLO isn't awesome but doing some small specific adjustment to a well-established style - which Idra does a lot - is actually harder than coming up with a completely new strategy.

Either way, that's so awesome to be acknowledged as the best foreign Zerg by the aruebly best player in the world :D Kind of, but it's typical of people to fall into the line of thinking that he's unimaginative simply because he's taken an incredibly effective and insightful playing style and nearly mastered it for continual use. Creativity criticisms often undermine the importance of essential stable play, which will eventually reign superior if this game reaches BW level. But not thinking is better received for surface-level assessments. im pretty sure 15 hatch was called "The IdrA" during beta since it was the only build he ever did, he was really playing todays ZvT style when everyone thought ahtch first was suicide If it's on Liquipedia, then it's true: 14 pool 15 hatch ^^

NesTea is pretty mad, he's going to destroy at MLG.
Starting with IdrA = )

ESFI interview
Nestea lost to Huk as well, so it's definitely possible for Idra to win. The prize pool might not be gigantic but if you're playing the opening game at the biggest SC2 event to date - and arguable one of the biggest ESPORTS events ever - against the second most accomplished player at the scene in the moment is pretty important even if it's just a showmatch.

Has anyone caught Idra´s new offline picture in Twitch TV? Hobbes surely looks like he is suffering the most horrible pains trapped in that lava like bed!!!!!

idra sure is creative. hes probably the one who invented the hydra + overlord creep timing attack at 9-10 minutes vs protoss.

People really don't give him enough credit for being creative considering how many different strategies he uses, particularly in zvp.

You can't compare Nestea's ZvP to his ZvZ. But it really hope Idra manages to play on Nestea's level, I want some crazy ZvZs!

Because the TLPD link is to his BW career for some reason.

I hope nestea and Idra bring there A game.... specially nestea cause if Idra wins, I want it to be against the real Nestea
|
Idra should definitely go mutas vs Nestea. Nestea will never expect a foreigner to do the build he invented, and so as long as Idra gets the multitask and gas lead, he should do well. Would love to see muta vs muta.
If idra does his usual baneling defense into mid game roach, nestea will eat him alive. If idra is aggressive outside of 9 pool vs 15 hatch, nestea will defense it easily. Slightly more greedy play and mutas will give a chance.
Other way to win is to coin flip twice. However, I saw Nestea easily dispose Sheth even though it was 9 pool vs 14/14 build order loss, when sheth lost 0 drones.
