lol... im sorry but idra should have seen that coming... as with the first time Kas did it, he cleared out the map with hellions first, he didnt even attempt to make a poke at the natural. all that means to me is that he would rather make sure that Idra doesnt know what is coming next vs possibly catching Idra off guard. its cool that idra missed the scout the first time kas did it... but come on... twice... same series.. same tactics? kinda let down tbh... still a big idra fan, he usually makes incredible reads.

If he looses to allins like that so often it's because his openings are too greedy or he doesn't scout in time, stop the qq. And I play zerg so no need to whine about any terran bias.

I mean, Axslav and Incontrol destoyes it for EG ... How are even Incontrol captain over EG? He looses all matches, his ugly and annoying. Axslav are a really bad protoss. I mean how can you even be in EG when you can't win a Playhem tournament? There is only three good players in EG and salute to them, rest go f*ck yourselves

looked like the old idra Gotta give Kas credit though, it appeared he knew he couldn't beat Idra once mutas came out so he just didn't let them come out. Didn't understand Idra's play on Xel Naga Caverns, I know he feels the map is unwinnable for zerg but it seemed like Kas was completely unprepared for his all in, left the ramp down and everything and yet all he has to do is pull scvs to stop it. Was there even a scenario in which that play works?

That is unnecessarily rude. Especially the part about incontrol, I think it was the last ITG (or maybe SOTG) where all the arguments why incontrol is very important for EG were listed. Plus he is by no means a "bad" player. Not up there with the best of the world atm, sure, but not bad by any means. Can't comment on Axslav, I actually barely see games of him, but I doubt EG would keep him on, if he was "really bad".

Funny how the casters says idra isnt scouting etc...

How do you get a zergling past a supply depot-marine wallin?
How do you get an overlord past 2 marines?

Its just stupid, you cannot scout double factory reactor. You just have to GUESS and flip a coin.

Every Zerg knows that you cannot scout after hellions are out. You see 4 hellions down the ramp, you know your opponent has expanded. Unless you snuck out a ling, there is no way to see all the hellions. There could be marauders, banshees, mech push, marine tank push.

Idra didn't need to scout, he needed a blind baneling nest and a better sim city.

I feel like if idra hadnt pulled up the ramp (autoloss) he would have had a fighting chance, deny the expo and make about 15 more drones, and then continue putting pressure to deny the expo as long as possible and force an all in from Kas and with a marine tank mix, a large zerg army could slow its advance. I feel like he could have taken it. Its not normal Idra style, but on Xelnaga normal tends not to work.

You can hide one of your first zergling somewhere on the map and run him in later, which is why Kas ran his first 2 hellions all over the map to look for those zerglings.
And as Sheth said with such an open choke and the super fast cc and no addon rax that idra scouted roaches would have been the right way to play this.

He lost because he didn't play it the right way, which is fine not everybody is nestea and even him messes up from time to time, and yes I think Idra is better then Kas overall. But stop saying terran is imbalanced and idra stood no chance against this strat.

Edit : the last part is not directed to you but to the people saying terran is imba

Makes sense, he would have been pretty far behind on econ but he would have had two hatches to Kas' one base to drone hard behind. Still, I feel like if he does that he just comes out more like even than really ahead and the major problem I've seen him run into on Xel is the difficulty in defending the third. I think the game would have still continued long enough to make that issue significant. Still it would have been better than the autoloss up the ramp and he might have been able to grab a bigger lead than I've imagined. I wonder if Kas left the ramp down on purpose to tempt him? Its funny, usually Idra's decision making is much better than that, which is why I thought it looked like the old tilty idra more than the one I've been watching lately at IEM, MLG Orlando and ASUS ROG. It almost seems like he plays better when he respects his opponent, which means he basically has to be Korean or tip top foreigner and even then... What is the old quote about the best swordfighter in the world fearing the worst swordfighter because he can't predict what he's going to do? Something like that. Anyway, go Idra, hope he does well at MLG

Edit: I'm not saying Kas is bad, just that Idra clearly perceives him to be bad which is what matters with respect to Idra's mental state.

It's not. This among others is longer:

Edit: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=94273 As well.

None of them are growing as fast as Idra's fanclub though.

IdrA's spot is locked in for NASL. Huk and DeMuslim too. EG tearing it up in lots of places lately.

It's pretty easy to transition out of double reactor hellion, as we saw in game 5.
