But well, if Greg makes it out of his group as number 1 it will be one of the greatest accomplishments of any foreigner.

I don't beleive Idra is in a group @ Providence if thats what you're reffering too. There is only a big bracket where idra is in round 3 or maybe 4. This is the main championship bracket like on championship sunday in normal MLGs. Its double elimination though i beleive but its a freeking hard run for idra..being number 1 seed aswell ^_^ Plus additions of MVP and NesTea getting to go, this 1 already has its top 4 sorted...MMA MvP NesTea Idra :3

Being seeded in the top 4 has given Idra a huge advantage.

I really hoped that this MLG would be the place were the absolut top gun koreans was taken down by a foreigner. But with this system it will always feel like the koreans just wont be on top at that stage of the tourney.

I've never even heard of his opponent. :S I only watched game 3. Both players played a bit sloppy in that game. Idra won the early game. Managed to keep his 2nd hatch safe against a one base ling, bling aggression. What Idra failed to do is to apply counter pressure. And also forgot one basic rule. If you are behind one base you have to double expand or die... Idra didn't look for 3rd base of LiveZerg. Both players made mistakes when it come to engagements later. Idra tried to break LZ front but attack in the choke with roach, hydra. LZ used lings+spines from front. Attacked with mutas from highground and tried to flank with banelings (did a poor job at first, banelings pathing send most of them threw the front). LZ killed idra army pushed and took down Idra's gold. Both players played a bit sloppy but the game was fun to watch. Both players were using totally opposite army types.

It is an old game, but different commentary from before, and it's a decent game to watch. ![]() And, of course, IdrA has been announced as one of the NA invitees (along with SelecT) to go to Finland for the Asus ROG Stars Invite, starting Nov. 4th. + Show Spoiler + http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=279279

So RoG is confirmed now. Round 4 vs MC... It's about time for a high profile Idra win really. Does not matter how OP they are, when the get to the last few rounds, they will have played so many games, been jetlagged etc that it will make a huge difference in their game. I actually quite like the concept of having a proper season and not just a weekend-long tournament. Even the GSL seasons are way too short. And to add some extre excitement, the MLG Global Invitational Finals will be helt at Providence as well. They're likely to have Idra - he is 2:1 against both Sheth and Major; Mvp (qualified already from Blizzcon); MMA or Bomber (MMA is 2:0 and Bomber has to eliminate Mvp in the regionals first); and one of White-Ra, Sase, Naniwa, and Ret (Sase is 2:0 vs Naniwa, White-Ra is 2:0 vs Sase and Ret).

Also, I really wish he was ITG...I'm really interested to see what he has to say...although he might've not got to go in depth because the show's go-to response on the new units was either "terrible" or "overpowered".

I know that a large fraction of Idra's fans came from his character and his sheer pride in what he does, but i know this is only because of his love for the game, his work ethic, his desire to win which caused him to create his flawless mechanics and brilliant play. We fans support him knowing what he's capable of and what he can achieve. Good luck to him for the upcoming events. If his focus is in he can win it all.
