Edit: guess red was more informed than i was, still sad to see him throw the game. Not to sound like a douchebag but i hope this makes sense: i hope there will be some kind of consequence so that he wont throw games in the future, because i do really enjoy watching him play. Cant really put it all on Ret tho, Dreamhack should have learned from the NaNiwa - Nestea proberush fiasco in Blizzard Cup... dont use a system that can put players in the situation where they have to play but cant advance. The "GSL style" group format is imo alot better. | ||

I can understand Ret lacking motivation... but did I really just see ling-bane barely micro'd attacking up a wall of force fields followed up by lings rallied into the protoss army and mass expanding for no reason? I'm usually a big fan of Ret, and I know he had nothing to play for, but this is still painful to see. edit: don't get depressed over it Ret. Just follow your heart and next tournament you hopefully won't be put in this kind of situation again. *2nd edit: I see now... the game didn't actually mean anything... because based on map score only including the players in the 3-way tie, Naniwa has 3-2, ForGG 2-2 and Nightend 3-3. So Naniwa advanced anyway. Sorry for blaming you of throwing games Ret. I assume you were better informed than the rest of us. | ||
