Well thanks for letting me know, I never even knew it had a second season till I looked it up. It was one of those ones I'd only heard the name of and seen a couple pictures from, but knew nothing about. I used to think it was just another one of those "let's make lolis fight" shows (yeah, no idea why I thought that it would be one of those, even just considering the art style alone.)
and yeah, I prefer anime with dark themes, or at least a lot of emotional tension, so I'm definitely looking forward to watching it. I just grabbed a nice BD rip torrent in 720p... I have no idea how they can get a full length episode down to under 100MB at that size without looking like complete shit though, so I hope the encoder knew what the hell they were doing.
EDIT: Also, just watched Madoka 9... I'm EXTREMELY impressed with their decision to continue to make it a very dark show. Thatt akes balls, considering it's "genre".

IIRC the first season is the first two volumes of the manga. Then the second season (Il-Tetriano, done by a different studio) is the third volume.

Yeah, from what I heard Artland did an awful job compared to Madhouse.
Someone tell me if Fractale is worth picking up again.

Haha, its not like Madoka is going to stop being a Deconstruction of Magical Girl shows at this point

at what episode did you stop watching?

Has anyone seen Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler)? It has 8+ average rating on MAL but I haven't seen anyone mention it.

I've heard of Kuroshitsuji. It's supposed to be decent, but it's very much fujoshi bait. Hence why we don't really talk about it.

Oh fujoshi;;
;;;;
I didn't expect a 'Shounen' genre to be a yaoi.

Hah, that's the same episode I stopped watching Fractale at. It was like they didn't know where they wanted the story to go.

that's the episode I thought Fractale started getting more interesting
anyways, episode 4-7 reveals more information about what the Fractale system does, why people want the Fractale system and why they are dependent on it, life outside the Fractale system for the resistance movement and people cut off from the Fractale system, and the power Nessa possesses in episode 7

Well, I finished Planetes. Holy fuck was it good. I absolutely loved the last episode. There was drama, romance, action, plot. It was a great show overall. I think this show tells the whole story about potential. Planetes got 26 episodes and everything got developed. The plot wasn't cut short and told it's story. It also stopped at a good moment. It felt very fulfilling.
If AB! got 2 seasons instead of 1 it could have been done a lot better. We could have gotten more story on TK and ninja-girl for example. I think Planetes has opened my eyes to that now.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Fractale is really weird. I can't put my finger on it, but it's weird. I didn't have any expectations going into this show, but I still feel somewhat disappointed somehow. At first the art and the animations were stunning and beautiful, but I feel like everything else leaves a lot to be desired.
Wow, 2200 posts already... they sure keep on increasing fast, thanks to ADT ; )
Also+ Show Spoiler [Onii-chan no koto zen zen ....] + I think they went a bit too far with the blowjob action on the frankfurter sausage and the choco banana

That was the last one that I've seen. I still plan to watch it someday, but I lost all motivation after that point.

The best of both worlds! I can't wait. :D
The April issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara magazine is announcing on Wednesday that the original K-ON! manga will run in two different magazines and cover both college and high school, starting in April. On April 9, the May issue of Manga Time Kirara will resume the manga with Yui and the other characters in their college years. However, the June issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine will also start a version of the K-ON! manga with Azusa, Ui, Jun, and the other characters still in high school on April 28. (Source: ANN, highlight mine)
Now the only thing that is missing is a continuation of the anime with the same storylines. But I guess they have to wait for more content first.

I don't know K-ON is good and all in terms of characters, but I almost dropped the latest season, cause it was just boring imo.

Yeah, the first season was fun, but by the middle of the second season, the novelty wears off. In S2 it became just your standard moe blob. I dropped season 2 right in the middle of it, on the 13th episode.

I actually liked the second season more than the first. Especially since the newer characters (and Azunyan in particular) got far more screen time. But I can understand that not everyone likes K-On, it is a rather special sort of show.
I wouldn't mind another 26 episode season at all.

When I said "looking for something new" I just meant something that you may not have seen before. Fist of the North Star is older than me. 1984 I think..maybe even before that.

Still no Gundam Unicorn. Veri angry.
Mazinkaiser SKL Episode 2 subs released. Anger somewhat relieved until I finish it.
