That's basically where mangaka's display all the hentai they've created based on popular animes from the past couple seasons. Not like Eva stuff, but for instance, things like sora no otoshimono-HotD-majutsu no index. Those types. Well more to it than hentai in the comic market but yeah.

That doesn't say anything about the content. Of course there is much more fan work for recent shows, because everyone wants to ride on the wave of new and popular stuff.

Nah brah, you're right in the term, but hentai is a general term for cartoon porn. with subgroups. Kind of like anime cover animation and manga covers written, and cartoon covers them both. Yah they're glorified cartoons, wanna fight? :D

Doujinshi doesn't need to be a written work either. It can be anything that a group of people (or even one person) created and published by themselves. Edit: You could take a look at the relevant Wikipedia pages too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dōjinshi

I thought doujin was when it's based off an existing story/anime or something. While generic manga falls under original work. Nope wiki'ed it, you guys are right, it means amateur production. However everything that comes from comiket is a doujinshi so that might be where i strayed in my definition lol Also read the western perception of the wiki article, pretty much what I thought it was so that's ok i guess, I'm okay with being mainstream american thinker.

Meh don't base it off that list, no one cares about the authors, I personally like Black dog and Some Bosshi. But w/o being an avid reader of hentai you're not going to know from contemporary culture.
